How could 41 people dislike this. playing korobeiniki is hard enough. playing it on a 12 string even more so. Igor mastered it.

Wow.. he really does a good job to make you listen to the song instead of hearing that ingrained videogame track in your mind. I have always loved the track from the game (and yes, I know its a russian folk song to begin with) but here I actually manage to disregard that, I just hear a beautiful song performed in a kickass way. :D

@romek123322 The guitar has 12 strings. The strings are in courses (groupings of 2 in this case), which are very close together. This is why at a distance it can seem like the guitar only has 6 strings, where as it actually has 6 groupings of 2. Hope this clears it up a bit bud.

Russian folk traditional. Style is a masterful history of rich emotional evocative. Hair raising poignancy and beauty all simultaneously telling. Something of. Powerful urgency and a keen sense of familial. Lineage I sense from the. Sound as I don't know any of the words but a truly appreciative musician could not. Escape the notability of Russian folk traditional music

12 string guitars have 6 pairs of strings. The bass strings have an extra string next to them that is tuned an octave higher. The treble strings have an extra string next to them that is tuned the same. It is played identically to a standard guitar.

None have ever truly beaten the titan of puzzles that is Tetris... Many have tried. One came close.... he got to the last level... the TRUE last level.... only to encounter the most beauteous of noises... It was too much, even for a hardcore gamer like himself. He merely cranked the volume and cried at the beauty, not even taking note of the blocks as they stacked to the ceiling.

I mean, Tetris is a Russian game. Not to mention that maybe a lot of people who looked up "tetris theme" saw "korobeiniki" and looked that up too, and inadvertently learned about Russian folk songs! It sort of worked that way for me, though I also really enjoy Russian culture to begin with.

double necks often have one neck 12-string, and the other one 6. However, some guitarist prefer 2 six string necks and remove a few strings from one neck, so that string skipping gets easier for arpeggios.

@Ryoketsu12 жыл бұрын
They do both in both places. A 12 stringed guitar is meant for harmonizing with itself without someone else having to play with you. A two headed guitar, I assume, would be useful for playing in two different tunings (ala Drop D, and Standard) at the same time. (I guess.)
@ZopcsakFeri11 жыл бұрын
I've also heard it being played in the circus: a very famous Russian acrobat group used Korobeiniki as their backing track.
