I think what makes Korone English so adorable is that she knows a lot of vocabulary, but no grammar. So she knows words like confidence or elegant or commentator but uses either really simple sentence structure or just kind of blurts out words without context. I love it

@Icarus_BZ Russian would suck for japanese people. Of the top of my head I can think of shit like кот с блинами (very specific example) where there are 4 consonants from 3 seperates words pronounce as if one. Or a word similar to splash, "всплеск" having 5 consonant sounds in order. "Kot s blinami" and "Vsplyesk" The prior example as well extrapolates to a lot of Russian prepositions, so if you were to have such a word that begins with many consonants and such a preposition before it, it could get even longer.

@@blackpepper2610 Learning Japanese as an English speaker is considerably hard, it can take upwards of 6 years to become fluent. Japanese to English seems to be much harder than that of English to Japanese because of the way sentences are formed and the fact that English has the same word but with different spellings which make different meanings (ex: there/their/they're or to/too). The fact that she can form even simple sentences is very impressive, and her pronunciation in a year is very good if you notice that she's getting very good at pronouncing the difference in the L sound and the R sound, which the Japanese have an extremely hard time with that. She's doing very good in a year considering the circumstances of what language is her first and what she's trying to learn.

1:20 she is saying "Angel Turtle" like turtle with wings. also, the portion where she is fighting that hammer bro was literally the most stressful moment of that stream with everyone noting that there is a mushroom in that upper right block (that she actually hit while she was trying to avoid dying once but just didn't notice that a mushroom popped out).

Excuse me, when confronted with a lakitu, her first pull was "Independence Day: Reprise [sic]" ???
@dylanwatson93844 жыл бұрын
She refers to lakitu as independence day because it reminds her of the movie!
@nilefly4 жыл бұрын
Wait, why did you use a [sic]?
@josephharold8084 жыл бұрын
@@nilefly because I'm fairly sure the movie that she's referring to is Independence day: resurgence. I'm not super sure though because I haven't watched very many of the ID movies. I just have never heard of Reprise, so I assumed. IDK. Maybe it's like the name of it in Japan? Like how Sex and the City was called Metropolitan Power Women in Saudi Arabia.
@JaneViolet_4 жыл бұрын
I think the reprise part is because she called the lakitu Independence Day last stream, so fighting it again is a reprise.
