@@davidsantiago7808 lol that's NOT their normal voice. are you serious? they sound like freaking toddler cartoons. it's clear to hear that they're forcing their voices as well as their accents. one can tell a naturally high pitched voice (they're not that uncommon btw, i know a bunch of women in their 30s with such voices myself) from one that's being forced to be even higher than normal. i don't know many vtubers but one of the few i know that speaks with her normal voice is okayu, and she's much easier on the ears. she does force an accent a bit tho. idk which one but there was a clip where one of these vtubers spoke with her natural voice and holy shit it's so much better than the fake voice they use. btw, the "they're asian girls" is a pretty shit stereotype, too.

Regardless if theyre faking or not, i knew and dated a girl who had a high pitched voice similar to korone's. I also knew girls in high school who had high pitched voices and i knew some who had low pitched voices. The neat thing about humans is that we're born differently with a cool range of variety. Many Japanese girls already talks with a high pitched voice when they are on tv or social media, they almost never talk in their national voice, so you don’t hear much difference. Korone talks in her normal natural voice, so it effects her voice more.

eh, helium can even cause sudden death. but that's only if you run out of oxygen in your blood, which doesn't happen any faster than you would drown (although it comes without warning as oxygen deficiency isn't uncomfortable / painful like co2 poisoning is). playing around with helium is not that dangerous, as helium is pretty inert and won't actively do anything to you other than displace oxygen. just be sure to not hold your breath with helium on your lungs for more than 10~15 seconds and you're golden. Also make sure to flush your lungs well with deep breaths before doing it again.
