A lot of people think that there is no backstory so how Asami and Korra shipped but if you could tell they had a very great connection between the entire series after the Avatar got poisoned they were there for each other even when Cora was gone for three years Asami was there for her Asami even offered to come to the northern to come to the Southern water tribe with her through the process you can tell that had a big connection enough something was going to come on it's stupid because people who are like how did they ship all there's nothing just prove it when if you actually pay attention it is really obvious to tell they're a great couple in my opinion as lifelong relationship and they really said I love you to each other you could tell they were going to be married and spend the rest of their life together
