That “WHY DID YOU DO IT?” Is genuinely disturbing, it’s like when Toph showed up in Aang’s nightmare with no eyes kind of creepy. Adora doesn’t ACT like that, she almost NEVER speaks that angrily. Not to her friends, and not to her enemies but to hear her yell at Catra really made me understand that Catra felt she would never have Adora again as anything other than an enemy.

Mara is absolutely underrated and if we ever get a spinoff it should be about Mara. Sure she had screen time in the show but we don’t know any more about her past than her being a first one who became She-Ra

What happened to this project?

I am currently binging the show for the 80th time, and I’m noticing that season 4 Catra was when she was at her worst. That’s when she turned everyone away and lost hope in Adora entirely. Seasons 1-3 got worse and worse. She pulled the portal lever and didn’t care that it was very possible she could die. She just wanted She Ra gone.

Here’s a question for you all that I’d like you to ponder. How did Catra end up on Horde Prime’s ship? And I mean REALLY think about this, because the transport beam was aimed at the Black Garnet room, NOT the forge, which is where we last see Catra before Horde Prime’s ship… So I ask again, HOW did Catra get aboard, amongst the same debris that was teleported with Glimmer and Hordak?

Mara to me is the epitome of brilliant writing. We only have 3 scenes and a monologue and yet she holds so much symbolism and defines the themes of the show. Her story is a tragedy done right and it's so heartbreaking while also giving the audience questions of morality and honor and heroism and life and remembrance. I love Mara and I love that the writers were able to take a children's show and make it just that good
