Living in Turkey we looked over to Kos from our livingroom and hoped that some day we could escape to civilisation (which we managed to do in 2021) before returning home to Northern Ireland shortly after.

Kos and Kos town looks very nice I'm going on Monday 2nd Sep, looks good for me as a solo traveller as it's a place for lots of exploring and good beaches.

THANK GOODNESS YOU ARE IN KOS AT LAST! stopped watching for a while as you kept doing Tenerife! Etc. Been to lots of Greek Islands, all lovely! But been to Kos 6 times! Noticed in Kardamena things are going upmarket with Boutique hotels. Best ice cream is the pink painted shop with the bougainvillea 2.50Eu for a big scoop Black Forest is yum. I feel safe in Kos but sure you have to keep your eyes open as in any place these days. Ruins in centre I believe are Roman. Kefalos has fab sands, quietish and divine. The whole island is. Where you are today is def for the youngsters. I stayed at Kalimera Mare hotel on the beach 3km from Kardamena. Nice family hotel the staff are INCREDIBLE! Generally found the local ppl are great! You will be back!

Left Edinburgh to Back pack around the Greek Islands for 4 weeks when i was 18( now 68),stopped in KOS i can't beleive how busy and built up it is now. I'm loving these video's. Thank you🙂

Good video, that’s the beautiful beech end of the town- as you’ve discovered, there is another resort the other way going past the marina, we didn’t get there but it’s Psaldi or something similar and apparently that’s why there are so many rental bikes about..

Stayed at Kosta Palace in 2015. Had a great holiday and experienced first hand boats crossing from Turkey with migrants. Very friendly people and good eating places. Seems like more now. Only reason we haven’t gone back were the poor conditions at airport and late flight times. Someday we shall talk you’ve passed me twice recently in The Alli arms ( stood in front of me to take photo of match on tv) and the festival (again) Was it your brother with the grey St Mirren hoody?

Hi Kevin, love all these choices of Bars on the beach, 🏖️ I think the reason they have these boardwalks so if you tried walking bare feet 🦶 on the sand , You’d end up Dancing like these Waiters , as it’s too hot to stand on 😂😂 very nice and end up at the beautiful Harbour. Very nice . 👍 well worth a visit .

Sophie's beach cafe you walked past @10:56 does the best coffee I ever had. If you want an ice cream the Special ice cream shop is great, walk under the castle bridge and turn right, its next to the chemist over the road from the massive white police station building with the tower. Amazing ice cream and its really cheap too. You said on an earlier video you never liked the beach in Kos town. Do you still not like it Kev?
