I love the symbolism of the ring Kosem wore. That pearl ring was her mother's ring. She wore it all the time and on the latter part of the series, as she got herself more entangled in the politics of palace life, I don't see her wearing it anymore.

It really frustrates me that Kosem waited so long to tell Ahmed the truth. I understand that she had to remain silent when her father was kidnapped because she was afraid for his life. Bur after her father was killed, she had nothing to lose, she should’ve told everything to Ahmed right away instead of hiding her pain and creating this stupid misunderstanding between them.

Actually, there are a lot of reasons why she waited to tell Ahmed. Kosem needed to get Safiye out of the palace once and for all though, and what she did to her father would probably not have been enough to finish the job. Even if it was, there would be little opportunity for Kosem to get out of it unscathed. If she had told Ahmet immediately after it happened, he would have gotten involved in all his rage, and things would have escalated out of her control. Aside from all that, she probably would not have wanted to relive the murder of her father in front of her by telling it to someone. It was clearly traumatic for her, so she likely wouldn't want to discuss it if she didn't have to. That being said, their misunderstanding happened immediately after Safiye's departure, and any attempts she made to explain herself at that point were ignored.
