@@broke_person9664 you can’t compare them in the term of caring for another woman’s child. Kosem had the chance to do so because Osman’s mother died when he was still a baby, while hurrem? Mustafa was already 5 years old when she came to the palace at the beginning. She didn’t have any chance to get bonding with him like Kosem did with Osman. Kosem even fed Osman herself with her milk. So, it’s irrelevant to compare them that way. It wasn’t Hurrem’s fault for not being able to get close with Mustafa, especially with the situation with his mother Mahidevran. Mahidevran even often influenced Mustafa to hate Hurrem. So It wasn’t Hurrem’s faut. She just wanted to save her own sons’ future, the same thing that Kosem and all other Sultanas would do if they were in her position

If I remember correctly, Osman's cruel treatment from the soldiers is part of the reason Murad was so hostile towards them when he took the throne. He heard about what happened, and ended up developing a deep distrust of them because he couldn't forgive them. The later rebellions from them only furthered his hatred of them. After watching this, can't say I blame Murad. If I had a sibling that was humiliated like that, I'd be beyond pissed off at the people who did that.

Tbh suleiman's all enemies were external ,there were only Persian spies and some enemies her n there in the palace . Like imagine if two or three of his sone turned cruel ,like for if mustafa and Beyazid join forces n raise an army against Suleiman and get the support of military and scholars . It would not be tough to dethrone Suleiman right. I never found any worthy enemies against Suleiman ,as for the external enemies he had able men like Ibrahim , Barbarosa etc . So I don't think it was possible to rebel against him when he had loyal and strong men beside him unfortunately all those loyal peope were killed by him.

Even if you read real history you will know that Osman was step son of Kosem but she loved him like a mother would love her own born child. She lost everything and with death of Osman she lost her heart too. Janissaries became corrupt and they eventually ended ottoman empire too because of harem politics young sultans and traitors
