It's not Kosem's fault. Ever since she came to the palace, she has had to put up with a countless number of schemers, liars, cowards, cheats, murderers, thieves, double dealers, and the like. Its hard enough to put up with all that when it comes from your own enemies and people you don't know, but when it comes from your friends, your own family? Can you really blame her for going off the hinge that one time? They have no idea what she'd been through, nor how hard she's fought just to keep her family from tearing each other's throats out. As far as I can see, that's all she wants, which is to keep her family together and strong, living peacefully together. Sadly, in this scenario and many others, that is just not the case.

Unfortunatly for her, that ended up screwing her over. Her son overheard everything, and being a little boy, didn't understand that what was said needed to be kept under the rug.
