This video was beyond helpful. Thumbs up from me. I have been playing Ukulele for a while and want to explore my first ever tongue/tank drum. I keep being drawn back to a Kosmosky . And this drum in particular mainly for the full scale. But will now reconsider as a first time drum.

I love this drum, i have it and the companion drum too! I do wish they had the rubber mallets and the black jackets with the drawings on them when i got mine haha. But either way, i am loving it a lot. ❤

I love your videos. I'm a beginner and was trying to decide between this drum and the tri tone wood based drum. I now know that this one is not for beginners-thank you for that! Would the tritone wood one be ok for a beginner?

I think the sound is similar. It's more about the available notes and how you want to use the instrument. More notes or more freedom, for example.

Hi, it didn't look like anyone responded to your question, so I thought I would give you my 2cents. Kosmoski is awesome. I have 2 drums from them, a woody and just a small tongue drum. They are very responsive if you have questions and they are very honest. I had ordered an accessory to go with my woody without realizing it wasn't compatible with that drum. Kosmoski reached out to me to let me know before shipping the order, so I was able to remove that item. I was very impressed by this, as most companies would have just shipped it. I got the drums at different times. Both arrived to Indiana with no issues and of course you can track them the whole way. I think if you decide to buy from them, you will be pleased. I'm very likely going to buy one of these new wave drums too... The only warning I have for buying a Kosmoski, is that you might get addicted to them. 😊
