A couple weeks ago I made a random stop at a familiar spot, "The Iron Pilings" or where the river meets the sea in Manzanilla, with my two nephews...
This was the first time in a while fishing there and first time I was trying the KoS M Jigs at the spot. My two nephews were there a couple days earlier and they did catch a couple fish, so hopes were high!
It didn't take long to start catching fish. Initially right at the side of the road we were hooking up, then we moved down to the beach and that's when we started to catch fish after fish...
Unfortunately we couldn't stay too long, as the ladies were waiting in the car, and the tide was rising rapidly...But it was an epic 45 minutes of fishing!

New to fishing and Went fishing at this location and all i have been catching is puffers .. man i think its time to stop go there yes !

That location is famous for puffers...You have to use live bait or artificials like the KoS M Jig...Anytime you use dead bait or cut bait...Puffers will get you...Also try to time a high tide...

Hey by chance did you go there when it was high tide? I went on a drive with my family a couple weeks ago but didn't catch anything, I'm guessing its cause the tide was low. But do you think the tide predictors online are accurate? Currently trying to figure out when is the best time to catch fish.

Hey bro...For this spot I always recommend an incoming tide....Full Moon or New Moon as well...Also...What bait were you using? You have to use live bait or artificials at this spot...The jigs reall work that day...Soft plastics are also good...

Jigs are a type of artificial lure...They work great for all types of fish! This was a great day! Lots of fish and excitement! The river mouth can be scary with the incoming tide...But love it there! Thanks again!
