Ehe..im kosraean and went to HS in Chuuk, College in PNI and lived in @least 4 different states in U.S. To me,Chuukese New Year is the the best so far😂.down side of KSAn new year is,sometimes some people use dirty water or put rocks in buckets of water they throw at you.

I think it's preference, while in this video might feel all hype, Kosrae is known for being a quiet place and reserved people, perfect for me and my family. I think if you want more hype and energy, Chuuk and Pohnpei is definitely the place to be. Happy New Years 🤙

Kosrae new year celebration is very unique...... Same what we do during feast of Saint John the Baptist every 24th of June.

@@Yangsta , It depend in parishes of every town or villages.. But here in Ivisan, Capiz, The Philippines (4,473 km West of Kosrae, FSM) we go to beaches to celebrate it... Your island is so beautiful and isolated... 😊
