Those are very fine speakers ...I got the big brothers CM -1030 and they sound darn good ...since I got them I stopped my LONG journey looking for the perfect speakers

@@BIGAZSPEAKERS yup they r fantastic speakers ..I got mine hooked up to a Sansui AU 999 and let me tell u man they sound great even @ VERY low volume and they t built like a tank lol

i just wanna say i busted out mys siters koss speakers with her old windows 1998 pc she dies in 2004 .... and they work perfectly with my sub...with a little modification of the ports ...can not believe they sound this good koss is or at least was great stuffd l

I've had these new since I think 1978. cost about $350 ea. then which would be with 7 x inflation, over $4000. pair. don't know that they' re that good but compared to modern KEF $1000. they are competitive. plus bigger bass, real fine veneer. like 60 lb each, 35 in tall. oh, Stereo Review mag said ' flat +- 2 from 20 - 5000 kHz which is more amp like than speaker.....Koss included coomplete brochures which stated 'one of the first computer designed thiel /small bass port systems'. oh, and -cloth speaker surrounds not 10 year decay foam.

I bought my the same year at London Audio in Ontario and had a Denon turn table with a Ortofon Moving Coil cartridge the MC 20 and was using a Yamaha integrated amp best sounding system that I had ever owned The album's back then sounded better Today I have a OPPO 205 plays everything sounds excellent for movies and surround sound music on DVD AUDIO and SACD plus I brought a Rega turntable P1 can't compare to the Denon with The Ortofon MC 20 . I have the LINN Majik 140s which I bought at London Audio in Ontario so I am still dealing with them since they open in 1978 But I do miss the sound that I had from that first system that I had. Enjoy your 1020 for me ..I do miss them
