Knife Making - Fantasy Tanto

Making fantasy tanto knife from hardened and tempered N690Co Boehler Uddeholm high carbon stainless steel, composite burl/acrilic handle and brass/titan tsuba. There I try to show all steps involved in this video.

You are crafty as hell. The dremel and the sharpening jigs are testaments to who your problem solving skills. You have order of operation that showed forethoughts while your method of operation showed internal understanding. Most people don't realize you were very careful in profiling the blade with the grinder. You were controlling temperature so you don't mess up your temper the whole time. You cut shallow and you used water while using the grinder. Most people who use removal just hack at it not realizing they softened the metal. Great job.

That is one of the most beautiful knife handles I have ever seen and that blade and the blood groove and how you put it in there with the dremel was amazing I would love to see a makers mark on that blade and a scabbard that would match that handle.

Hey, I just want to say these videos are awesome. Your sound editing is great so that everything is equalized and not too loud, as well. And of course, every knife you've made has been amazing, especially this one because of the ingenious way you split open the resin to create the handle. It looks great on the handle. Also, , the Etsy Shop is great, you can make the stuff and show it off and it's basically quality-based marketing. I'm still waiting on you to post that black steel and copper scalpel!

Best tanto that I have seen, good work. Seen tantos on YT but not like this, they look like kitchen knifes. I love the tip and the edges, that makes a real tanto, like a katana.

I dont want be a Cpt. Obvious, for those who asking where is hardening blade, the blank piece was already hardened. You can see that he is cooling material when he was cutting it with angle grinder. Also when he was cuting it he also chipping it wih hammer. You couldn't do that with mild steel. Sory for my english..

I like the pipe clamp. You might try using a Rheostat / Dimmer Switch on your dremel to slow it down. Did you make that handle material, it's kinda cool. Dremel for fuller genius.

Koss! That fuller jig is absolutely incredible! I've been looking for a way to add a fuller and cant with my 2x72 small wheels the ends screw me.i want to try and make your idea.i paused the video and took screen shots but I'm still scared to mess it up.have you messeds up before? And what sanding stone are you using after the fuller is in? Ps love all of your knives and projects
