Question: What’s the planned pseudo-legendary line? Interesting how only Rowlet line being the only line to have a regional form, with a regional evolution instead of Decidueye. Interesting how some of these ideas became realized in one way by Game Freak, such as the Naclystal line being made before the Nacli line from SV turned out real.

Brazil is a very big country, and that's why we have many different cultures for every corner of the country. I'm not the creator, but I believe that the initial line was based on urban legends from Pernambuco. A state in northeastern Brazil. The plant, based on "Comadre Fulozinha" (Bedpan Floret) a spirit of the forest that uses its hair to lash the bad guys. The fire one, based on the "Mula-sem-cabeça", another spirit of the forest that has fire in place of the head and that haunted the Indians and Portuguese People at the time of the discovery of the country. The water one is a mixture of Guaiamum with "Lampião", a bandit (or hero, it depends who you ask) who lived and haunted the lives of farmers and citizens decades ago and who entered the popular imagination as a hero, a kind of Brazilian Robin Hood. (it was just a violent bandit, who commanded a gang and killed his victims with a fish knife that fishmongers use)

The final form of Rowlet's evolution is with reference to an urban legend of the "Rasga-Mortalha" (Shroud-rip), an owl that heralds death. I'm not sure, but I believe the author changed the name of the Decidueye because the reference to this type of owl would be lost.
