I first watched Tsubasa back when it was released in the early 2000's. I watched it in Japanese before it was dubbed. Then I watched it with the English voice cast. They picked the cast that did a phenomenal job. At first, I did not like Monica Rial as Sakura-Hime. As time past, her voice for the character began to grow on me. Even though I'm not a fan of her {on a more personal level} I will respect her on a professional level. Jason as Syaoran was a fantastic choice. He brought the character to life. When I heard the Monica and Jason were reprising their roles of Sakura and Syaoran for Cardcaptors Clear Card Arc, I admit I was super excited. Christopher Sabat as Kurogane was another fantastic casting choice. It is a little difficult to believe that he also voices Vegeta & Piccolo in the Dragonball franchise and he was the voice of Ritsu Kasanoda in Ouran High School Host Club. When it came to Kasanoda, I could hear Kurogane haha. Vic Mignogna as Fai was amazing. I believe Tsubasa was the first anime I understood who he was. I had heard his voice in many anime previous to Tsubasa. I thank the english voice cast who were chosen for this anime to bring it to life and how well the voice actors did in it.

I loved this anime but the one thing it always reminds me of is Card Captor Sakura because he's collecting Sakura's memories so she can end up remembering him and falling in love again. The memories in this anime are like the cards in the other anime and both are CLAMP shows. At times I found this to be a continuation to the CCS storyline and put in a different universe. All the characters' names are the same as CCS so I don't see how it wouldn't be a continuation of the CCS story with a slightly different plot. Both are pretty amazing anyway

There's something different. When they are travelling at first to Yuko he has to sacrifice something to her in order to get to travel so he can collect her memories. He sacrifces his most precious relationship...the relationship to Sakura. Even if she gets back all her memories, she will never remember Shaolan and that's such a heartbreaking destiny >_

I like them both because they are so similar but yet so different they have the same characters and their personalities but i feel they convey different feelings for instance ccs gives you a feeling of happiness and sweet heartwarming feelings for the two main characters and has a bit of action so you are not bored whereas tsubasa for me anyway there wasn't much sweetness or heartwarming and more of a serious feeling and quite a dark view on things such as shyarons fate and sakuras seemingly never ending nightmare as she constantly fights with her memories this also contains allot of action scenes both are very good by the way and both deserve a watch :)

Well, if you read the ending... *spoilers!!!* They are a different version, living in a larger multiverse, and CCS gives her staff to fufill a wish someone else (Either the Dimension witch, or Sakura in the future) Cause time travel + multiverse + clones makes a unique story!
