The next battle from Blackout 2 is sure to be considered a classic by many. Florida's 24/7 comes back to Toronto to face-off against O.G. Hindu Kush's Osa from Ottawa. Osa, who hasn't been in the ring since his battle with Quake, is out to prove why he is considered one of the top writers in KOTD. While 24/7, who makes his 4th appearance in King Of The Dot, is looking to put on another solid performance in what might be his last battle. Will this battle live up to what it could be?

This is what battling is about for me, 2 heavy lyricists who can actually rap, going in at each other on a relevant and personal level without resorting to stereotypes/jokes/over-aggression or cheap laughs every few bars. This was a lesson in how to battle with class and all the way through you could see the mutual respect they had for each other's rhymes. Easily the best battle I've watched for a long time, both of these make awesome music too.

24/7 is a deep cat, mad talented. I met him while I lived in Orlando, had a writing class together at UCF. His pen game is sharp as fuck, poetry or prose. His album is also a straight banger from start to finish, with some of the grimiest beats ever courtesy of underground producer Tony Mahoney. He deserves some respect and acknowledgement for real, regardless of the outcome in these battle vids.

I think he was fed up of the judged battles that he was in and he lost but really won. That pissed him off and made him leave, besides the fact that he he wanted to make music and not just be a battle rapper. But the dude is real nasty and he needs to get back in that battling ring and show dudes what's good because he really is sick when it comes to this music thing and battling we need 24/7 back.. This was Osa's best showing, but 24 still got it. It's a shame he doesn't battle more often.. but he never disappoints us whenever he does choose to step back in the ring. He's proof that if you have great natural ability and are confident, you don't need all that extra shit. Big props to him.. Looking forward to any battle he'll be in next. This was a classic though..
