A promising up and comer in the making, Wize Guy is not yet a name that is one the minds of most battle fans, but the Edmonton, Alberta battler is looking to change that moving forward. Known for the most part as a member of the Ground Zero division of King of the Dot, Wize Guy has certainly put in his fair share of time developing his skills in GZ. Having now graduated to the main stage, Wize Guy was recently apart of one Blackout 3's best battles in his match with Soul, proving that he is ready for a higher caliber of contender. Back on the mainstage to take on another challenger, Wize Guy steps up against Uno Lavoz to see if he has what it takes to knock out a heavy hitter.
While still considered a member of one of the newer generations of battlers, Uno Lavoz has already accomplished more during his tenure than most battlers do in their careers. The Philadelphia, PA rapper got his start during the Grindtime days, garnering attention through his outrageous humor and lack of a filter when it comes to battling. Since then, Uno has evolved his style, tightening up his delivery and incorporating more bars into his arsenal. Having traveled to the UK, Australia, and Canada multiple times, Uno is no stranger to tough competition. Making his debut in Calgary, Uno Lavoz takes on Wize Guy in this next release from Quarantine.

You need to give your head a shake and think objectively. It comes down to talent and smarts and yes punch lines. Uno had none of that. He just made a bunch of noise. Wize Guy can actually rap. Pat Stay has a similar style to Uno, but can rap much better and he reps Dartmouth where I grew up, but his songs are not that good because he is more a battle rapper than a actually rapper. Props to him though. I don't look at someone and say they win based on the fact that they are cool or I know them. I look at technical ability, and how they flow. Sorry that is a true rapper. Just my thoughts:)

That was the total show there; with the amazing showmanship, the effort and detailed thought that went into this battle from both rappers, I would have a hard time picking a winner from this match. It's been a while since a battle has kept me that enthused for the entire 3 rounds, a favorite of mine I'll be sure to watch many times.
