I really hated Linh, Stina, Marella, and Maruca in this book. Like at this point Shannon can erase all of them and I won’t even care. I used to like Linh more than Tam in the earlier books, but now Tam is so much better.

honestly, am I the only one who doesn't like Ro that much?? like yes she's awesome, ro and keefe dynamic is the best (argue with the wall) and I really liked her this book (just wish sophie had more time with Sandor, as well) - but she's kinda overrated imo, her jokes are overused and childish and kinda getting boring at this point. also, the things she says sometimes are really annoying, and she can be too stubborn as well. overall, she's a great character with decent development but sandor is better anyday

Yeah I like Sandor more than ro I don’t know why I put Ro over Sandor lol! I think this book she got a little bit better than previous books where she kept making obnoxious jokes but overall I think she’s turning out to be a good character! Thanks for sharing your opinion :)

I agree with all your points. I do think Ro was wayyyy better in this book than the previous ones. Like, I'm glad she got her own little side plot with Cadfael because I think her character thus far hasn't had that much growth compared to Sandor who has changed a bit throughout the series.

@@FrozenJedi38 sandor: SERIOUSLY THE BEST BODYGUARD IMO. he deserves much more appreciation than ro, who just makes jokes and sarcastic comments which are getting realllllyyy boring now, by the way. like yes, i love her, but pls ro, u could be much better. also, SANDOR is always there for sophie, and is so loyal but sophie still undervalues him. she doesn't appreciate and respect him enough. especially at the end of the book, when lady gisella gets one of her troll allies to take sandor, sophie mentions something about sandor being a "complication", i'm sure she meant it in like "ohh i have to save him now" but it came out (at least to me like) "oh it's a problem i have to fix," b/c REALLY? it could've been worded much better. Sandor's one of the best characters in the entire series and people need to stop sleeping on this fact. he's a whole mood and he deserves much more appreciation.

Yeah i feel you, Ro’s character is amazing and cool but i kinda feel like her role is Keefe’ therapist. Not the biggest fan :p

From what I've seen, the two worst sections of the book were Kenric's cash (honestly that was my favorite part lol), and the part where Sophie and co. and arguing with Glimmer for a solid 50-100 pages (I hated that part, they kept on making the same arguments over and over again but worded slightly differently- made me wanna skip it entirely), and I think that's shown on the tier list here- I tend to like characters less if they are in a scene that I don't like!

Most of these are good, but unlike everyone else apparently I think Alden is a great character. He has a nice connection to Sophie and hasn’t really done much wrong. He is just a pure fatherly figure to Sophie.

Personally, it’s just the telling Keefe to take care of fitz’s anger issues, help him out, stay away from him and Sophie, so that really ruined his character for me (sorry I hadn’t watched the video but I just realised that it’s mentioned already sorry)

Sophie and keefe are both blond, have photographic memories, and are good with silveny. Plus, her abilities are similar to Empathy. What if that happened because both her parents are empaths? In book 1, Sophie also states that it was like Cassius knew something she didn’t.. What if during the memory break on Prentice, Alden also found out who Sophie’s parents are? He knew that he couldn’t tell anyone. So maybe that’s why he told Keefe to back off, so his feelings wouldn’t get hurt if Sophie finds out that Cassius is her dad? Btw I am a HUGE Sokeefe shipper and as much as I don’t want this to happen, it makes sense TT

Yes, there are signs pointing to it and I used to think this too but then I’m pretty biased due to shipping sokeefe and also, I think that forkle would’ve snuffed out Sophie’s feelings for Keene if that was the case just like when Keefe suggests that she’s not related to the vackers with the explanation that forkle would’ve snuffed out the fitz feelings. And I’m pretty sure forkle knew, we’ve seen him wink all the dam time after hinting at something Sophie didn’t figure out and we’ve all read the forcing Keefe, fitz and Sophie to do emotional exercises together and saying he’d believe it “would be very enlightening “

i'm gonna quickly do my character dump and what i think about them here (in stellarlune): - this is my opinion, and it's completely ok to disagree! sophie: just as annoying as ever, but i'm glad she's finally doing stuff and becoming the leader that she knows she is. my only hope is please make her LESS stubborn and MORE likable. there could be the most logical, smartest and intelligent option in front of her and she'd still do the dumbest thing possible - DON'T GET ME WRONG - i still like her, but PLS improvement for sophie elizabeth foster keefe: (don't cry in my replies if u disagree idc) i liked keefe this book - he was only in a small portion compared to usual, but it still made the book 10x better. now, i'm gonna piss people off when i say this, but HELLO?? what was the point of him leaving if bro was going to come back 5 minutes after his friends found him? maybe it's b/c i had my hopes up but it was disappointing when they found him again, the whole situation just felt so awkward imo. also, i'm sorry but i'm getting tired of the whole "mommy dearest," and "daddy problems" jokes and sob story. the first few books with it was fine, i actually really liked the plot but idk if it's just me or what, but it's getting extremely boring now. OBVIOUSLY i still like keefe, and i'm looking forward to the rest of the books - but i really hope shannon wraps this whole part off and gives us the whole neverseen vs intelligent species war thing fitz: ahh honestly, he was ok this book. he still made me angry a lot at times, and i loved sophie for giving him the disrespect he deserves but the way he reacted when sophie told him about keefe was... okay? like i didn't find it bad at all. maybe it was because i was hoping for his grand throwing things tantrum but it didn't happen. the way he acted wasn't correct, but it also wasn't as bad as everyone is making it be. still lots of room for improvement though - decent character imo this book biana & dex: love both characters, wish they got more time! however in biana's case, i don't like the fact that she didn't defend sophie (the whole neverseen storehouse fire) and made some comments about her not checking before burning the stuff, even though they didn't have time, and complaining later about her job (which was absolutely ridiculous) - but she was ok this book overall. in dex's case, he was pretty good this book, i'm glad he helped sophie and was more involved. stina: i can't tell u how much i wanted and was rooting for a STINA redemption arc but she was SO annoying this book, i just couldn't. she went from high up on my list to the very low. terrible tbh. shannon, pls make her better next book. linh: "what is she, tam? the light to your darkness?" HAHA the only line i liked from linh this book - i hope she's better next book. marella: honestly marella is just too much. she thinks she's all this and that but she really isn't. she was annoying as hell this book and i hope that shannon does something to save this character b/c for me rn, she isn't anywhere near the top. tam: okay character this book. not much to say. jensi: YESS FINALLY jensi is here again. R.I.P ALDEN HE IS THE ONLY ONE IN ERASED 😭. He’s not even that bad of a character but he’s really annoying sometimes so I understand. He generally isn’t even helpful at all anymore, he used to be a bit of a father figure to Sophie but I don’t really see it that way anymore because Sophie is older and is taking more responsibility. And Alden was a character that Sophie would go to for help but now she doesn’t need him.

Dex we need more of him to Sophie left Biana and Dex in the dust 3. Fitz I know he gets a lot of hate and stuff but he’s just being a normal person and do you see Sophie’s new attitude? It’s terrible and she makes everything about herself 4. Tam we need so much more 5. Linh only if she gets back with the original group tho not Stina, Marella, and Maruca 6. Chooses Keefe over Fitz that was the worst decision ever cuz Keefe ran away so many times and people only like him cuz if his family issues Fr And why does she get to be a part of EVERYTHING I mean at the beginning yeah sure it was about her but towards the end it’s about all of the ‘Kevin world she should be allowed to miss out on SOME important events She completely ditched Biana and Dex and still says she relies on them at the Team Valiant decision thing She always makes everything about herself it’s not okay anymore these problems are far bigger than you now Keefe: overrated Doesn’t deserve Sophie Replaced Fitz with Sophie without caring a bit Gets too close with Sophie while she and Fitz are together Gets so much sympathy because if his mommy and daddy issues He ran away so many times and hurt everyone and gets forgiven so easily and so loved but Fitz acts like a normal person and everyone hates on him Keefe is such a bad character Fitz: he didn’t have to do Sophie like that that was terrible but he deserves redemption and maybe he isn’t apologizing because of how bad Sophie is treating him now Biana: GURL WE NEED MORE OF UUU Stellarlune is literally all about Sophie and Keefe and Fitz with Maruca Wylie Marella and Stina.
