I often do an Armored Jedi/Sith Juggernaut kind of thing most of the time. I like being the Tank who repels blaster bolts and thwarting melee attacks. I usually have Heavy Armor Proficiency, Master Dueling, the first level of Conditioning, Master Toughness, Master Flurry, Master Jedi Defense, and Weapon Specialization: Lightsaber as feats. I also often put in alot of STR and CON points for the Attributes and a little bit of Wisdom and Charisma. Intelligence isn't all that important for a Jedi Guardian since they do more fighting.

This is many years late, but if I'm revisiting this game right now, others must be too. I have some suggested corrections about this Guardian build, at least its melee form. I'd sacrifice Dexterity entirely, since Force powers like Speed and Valor already boost your defense immensely, and a high Constitution benefits you much more. Because whatever gets past your Deflection, your health can tank it up, and you can equip the best implants, which make you an even better fighter and compensate for your weaknesses (Wisdom, for example). I'd focus on dual-wielding and try to stack extra "hits per turn" as much as possible, such as with Knight/Master Speed and Juyo Form, as well as Flurry. This makes you an aggressive hurricane of laser death in melee, with minimal penalties to accuracy and defense. Your Wisdom can be left as secondary, but boosted through items and Force Valor, so that your Force powers will rarely be resisted. I'd focus on mainly buffs for yourself, and having ONE universal "control" power to give yourself some breathing room, like Force Wave. Even at higher levels, it saves you some grief from heavy, sustained enemy fire. If you become a Weapon Master or Marauder and get the Juyo Form, KEEP IT even when fighting Sith and Jedi. Compensate your vulnerability to Force powers by using Force Immunity. All your weaknesses are neatly covered. Heavy Armor is counter-productive, since it blocks you from the best Force powers, and they give you a lot more benefits than the armor ever could. If anything, wear Jal Shey or Zeison Sha armor, which offers decent defense, upgrade slots, and doesn't block Force powers at all. Or simply wear robes if you prefer that aesthetic, it doesn't cripple you. Charisma is irrelevant for a LS Jedi Guardian, since you won't be using Dark Side powers anyway, thus the penalty reduction is useless to you.

Or you can sacrifice STR entirely and focus DEX with finesse feat. You'll get tons of defense and attack. Wear a robe and roll to victory. Agreed with everything else. Great guide btw, pity there are none for sentinels and consulars.

WarmageRagnar I kind of disagree on the heavy armor. It's really good if you like being a tank-like Guardian or Marauder. I often play like a Darth Vader type of build as a Guardian.

Really? Because I did High Dex Wis (Battle Precognition Handmaiden), 16 con (for implants), the dueling style, and Master Flurry - *at least* 10-15 more Defense (in a game that rolls a 20 sided dice) than a strength build and quite a few more attack bonus at the expense of only 1 less attack. Power Attack is only worth it on non jedi my experience (because lightsaber damage is so high). If you need to create space, use Force Push Power Attack -3 hit, +12 damage Critical Strike -5 Defense, small chance to crit for double damage Master Flurry -1 hit, 1 extra attack (outpaces power attack by a wide margin, and does more reliably and consistent damage than critical strike - Also you don't need to stun the enemy because there's a good chance he won't hit you) Weapon Finesse allows dex to hit and damage Battle Precognition allows Wis to Defense You will spend much less time using healing/medpaks in battle as well meaning you will be making more attacks and thus easily make up the lost damage in regards to two weapon fighting

Viper3220 Power attack is absolutely the best power for jedi with force speed. In kotor 2 when you crit using a power attack your damage is multiplied by x3 instead of x2 like normal. Combining this with the shien form you can achieve x4 threat multiplier and can outclass any other style of attack in dps.
