There are from what I have seen, a number of different police and military forces around the world that have adopted the bujinkan into their training. So I'm just wondering about why this would happen, since they seem to be trained for pressure situations?.

so when you step back you really think the agressor is going to stand there and get out of balance and let you do all those crazy stuff. please people get real. You wanna throw, learn judo or check movements in judo match ups. this is fantasy

minasz it's like this. there's a lot of shitty bujinkan schools. but not all of them are shitty. these are techniques to use in the midst of a fight, they are not the absolute style you should hold onto. all this stuff is about learning how to get into postures and do things right. and overtime, that stuff gets absorbed into your body movement. Nobody fights like this absolutely. and this is a training/demo video.

Metaless Araya I understand that he s explaining the technique, but why explain a technique that wont work. Its like explaing how to ride a bike and making the other believe that its the way how to fly. Its stupid. Show a technique in a way that its gonna work and if the technique is just make believe...than stand up and tell that sensei, teacher, master that it will not work in real time.

@@minasz Shodan in Judo, they do work. What you are really not seeing is the play of balance, kuzushi, intention, flow, rhythm and timing. On top of that, he is correct about pausing to teach..
