Those matches don’t burn long, but instead burn super hot and are technically “waterproof”. They saved my ass on so many camping trips because I’m always getting caught in the rain or damp conditions. Love your channel. Thanks for finding these niche kits from around the world.

That tin is stuffed to the gills. Great whistle/blade holder concept. Instead of the toothpick a mini ferro rod "might" fit. I'm not fond of that type of survival card so I would swap the space for a Victorinox signal mirror, Fresnel lens, jigsaw blade, and folded foil. Thanks for hunting around Etsy---great source for handmade survival kits!

That was a nice little kit, but I don’t understand why people want you to collect water in a condom. There has to be a better way 😂 great video 👍
@whitetailsurvival24306 ай бұрын
Yea there’s a few better options than a rubber 🤣 I did have a lady tell me the other day that if you want it to last longer to put the condom into a sock and then fill it up with water. It makes the total package a lot stronger and less easy to pop. I might have to try it out! Plus it’s hides the condom so it’s doesn’t feel like your drinking out of a water wang. It might not hurt to toss a flavored one in there I guess it would be like adding a coolaid packet 😆 I really don’t recommend doing that

@whitetailsurvival24306 ай бұрын
Yea I do all the time why do you ask? I just went turkey hunting from 5:20 am until alittle after 10am on Saturday. It’s getting to be scouting season for the upcoming deer archery season. So lots of hikes in the woods, setting and checking cameras. I will be at my wife’s family’s house Memorial Day weekend hunting in a whole different county 2.5 hours from home. Fishing is in its harder with small children but I still get out. Summer is coming and it will be time to hunt groundhogs for the local farmers that’s usually noon till sunset if I can get out a few days on the weekends or after work during the work week. I will take the occasional hike at the state park that’s 11 minutes from my house. I’m halfway done with all the trails that are in the park and I have found most of the geocaches. My family loves to kayak the creeks and lake. There’s a 282 acre farm around my house so nature is around me 24/7. I get to make an overnight camp with a buddy or two once in a while. I try to fit that stuff in plus more outdoor stuff and juggling a 2 year old and two other young children in sports while working full time as a service technician/installer for Anderson windows. Since you felt the need to ask how much time do you spend outside? I could go on and on about the stuff I do out here! Go ahead and tell me some stuff you do now I like to hear other experiences of the people willing to comment on my videos.

Yet another example of build-your-own. Here’s the thing with these tiny boxes, tiny boxes that cannot capacitate anything 3.5-4” long: there are very few quality tools that are shorter. Even the mini multi’s made by Gerber or Leatherman, units made out of decent materials and constructed with some knowhow, are so short they offer very little by way of leverage advantage. Even when trying to do basics like remove a steel bottle of boiling water from a fire or bend thick gauge wire for a McGyve, it’s like trying to work with a roach clip. The argument, of course, is “but this is so small I’ll actually carry it” Be honest: will you? If a slightly larger box requires a ride in the back pocket, just like a slightly smaller one will, but can hold a Bic, Made🇺🇸needles, an O Light, bobbins of kevlar and Spectra, a proper 3.5” folder, a medium size Nextool and a ferro rod is that a better choice? To me it is. Far better. Like, different universe. It’s all about utility. Lastly when micro kits are so jam packed that fishing out a needed tool takes 10 minutes of futzy repacking oftentimes you won’t do it. Before parting with your hard earned money ask yourself “is carrying a box the size of a deck of cards in my back pocket better than carrying a box the size of a pack of 100’s cigarettes?”And ask “would I be better off building precisely what I want ? Even though it’ll cost me 4x the amount?” Again, to me, when I really need something there is zero satisfaction in lacking the correct implement but thinking “well at least it was a bargain.” Another great option are the Maxpedition zipper cases. 4.5” x 3.5” x 1”. Made of cordura they are slightly less ergonomically offensive if carried in a back pocket or cargo pocket. The aluminum boxes get dented, dinged and their little folded over “hinges” fail after a month or two of everyday carry. You’ll wind up needing an ever present Ranger band to keep two separated lids together. Thank you, Whitetail, for another solid video 👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks for watching I appreciate it! I have my own kits that I made and I’m going to sell a few it’s bigger and in a pouch. I just enjoy seeing what people put in these things. A lot of people get into survival preparedness because of compact kits like these. If I can make a shelter and fire for the most part I will be ok for a night. I think everyone should make their own kit based off of their skill level and environment they live in these kits do give people ideas.

We’ve already figured out that it was turned into the Czech Republic in the 90’s and no goes by Czechia since 2016. I already know this information now. I’ve been out of school for 13 years and my work doesn’t really follow up with planetary geography. Europe is a long way from the US and there nothing really significant to at I would be studying the likes of the Czech republic. That would be the same thing to people over there if any of our states changed their name. Unless it’s a significant importance to something that’s going on in their day to day lives, then they are not going to know either. I apologize for offending you but I don’t have time to spend studying my globe. I do know now since some kind people let me know in a better way! Thanks for watching though if that’s the only complaint you have I will except it!

That’s even using a budget Becker knife and off brand mini tool and a Swiss classic SD. There’s a bit more in my kit but I’m not done yet either. I think im going to upgrade the tool to the Gerber dime and that’s going to cost even more. Try to price a decent kit out and let me know what your total is.
