I will be interested in the KLX300 compare. Have owned a highly modded 2010 250s/300r for the last 2 years as a re-entry point after 30yrs not riding, so back too my first love. Cheers from downunder 🙃

Sounds good! The KLX300 was also my first bike after a 6 year break living overseas. Was great for a few months but outgrew it too quickly!

Good video, I am doubting, even though they are not of the same category, whether to buy a Tenere 700, Kove 450 Rally or when the 800X comes out, what I like about this bike is that it is very light and does not exceed 200Kg like the others. . Keep it up.
@BraapTales8 ай бұрын
Yes, light is right my friend! The Kove 800X Rally is also lighter than the T7.

Lightness not only thing about the KOVE, it's also how it carries its weight - lower CG than a standard dual sport with the tanks an integral and critical part of the design from the start. Simply all around better handling and quicker responding with a full ~8gallons than a lighter KLX300R is with its max ~2gallons.

@@PaulVincent-i8o Yes, the handling is pretty incredible given the size, fuel capacity, and power of the bike. And I know from slapping a Safari tank on a DR650 what it feels like to have horribly balanced fuel tanks. The Kove has none of that problem.

That is one well kitted out Kove 👍🏻

Very cool bike. If they had been available where i live i would have boight one over the klx300. I do still greatly enjoy my klx so nbd. The kove is the unicorn bike we have all been waiting for. I still hope a japanese manufacturer will come out with something similar

Yes, currently your best option would be a Honda crf450l, which I have ridden and it’s a nice bike, especially off-road, but not quite as versatile as the Kove IMO, and also requires a lot more aftermarket parts. The KTM 500 is also a good option if you have the money. For me the Kove is the all-around best option currently unless you have a sizable budget.

Honestly don't understand poeples issue with the stock windshield. Im like 6"1' and have done days with 1000km highway and not had any issues. Sure a higher one might be better but the stock one really is good for highway as it is. Compared to other fairings I have had on various bikes (old ADV bikes, race bikes etc...) so far Kove stock is the best working stock windshield I have had.

Hi. Great video! Can you advise how to plug a tablet by not connecting it directly to the battery? Have you found a + wire after ignition ON? Thanks!
@BraapTales8 ай бұрын
Yes! The power and ground wires going to the aux USB port are wired ignition on/off. That's where I will be wiring in my DMD Tab and DMD Remote.

Would you please put a link to the moded parts in the description? Thanks
@BraapTales8 ай бұрын
Sure. 90% of the mods can be found on KoveUSA, Uncle Wangs, and Aliexpress. DMDtab is from Thork racing. I will link them when I get a chance.

Hello from France, and thank you for your very well presented video. My future Kove is arriving in a few weeks. You purchased the titanium exhaust line from "Unclewang", they also offer the ECU. Do you think it is the exact copy of your reprogramming made at "Kove USA" ? Do you know anyone who would have purchased an ECU from "Unclewang" ? Thank you and have a good ride.
@BraapTales6 ай бұрын
I don't know if it's exactly the same. Back when I placed my order with Uncle Wang's I tried to order one of their ECUs, but they did not have any in stock. Thank you for watching all the way from France and enjoy your new Kove!
