That’s a fantastic little heater, I have it saved on my wishlist. Looks like a great spot to stay a few days!

It is a nice little unit, thanks for watching Tim. The campground is Shawme Crowell State Forest, nice and quiet.

I just bought one and it works great. However, the company has changed the design in that you no longer insert the can and twist to lock. Now you line up the tab and just push in. It's held in via a magnet which I don't like as much as the idea to twist to lock. This confuses many people like myself who thought I was supposed to twist to lock and thought it was dysfunctional. Also the gas knob has to be in the off position or the can won't go on. First page of the manual says to make sure there is no metal shavings or debris on the magnet which could break the seal which is a little sketchy on the design if you ask me. I do like the fact that there Is a metal tray inside that gets exposed to the heat and keeps the butaine at an operating temperature when cold. Overall I like it and will be keeping it.

Thanks for the video. Do you know approximately how long it will run on the lowest setting?
@Hatch61Ай бұрын
Thanks for watching, depending on the setting, I average between three and six hours, six of course being on low. Be well, and happy camping.

Which is better? This unit or the Mr. Heater?
@Hatch618 ай бұрын
Depends on the area you are trying to warm. For my teardrop style camper this is better than Mr Heater. If you are in a garage or shed, the Buddy heater is better. This is just easier to pack and store. Thanks for watching.

One must be aware of the limitations of a butane canister. I found out with a butane stove that it doesn’t flow well under 30 degrees. It stops flowing at 15 so plan to keep the canister warm before use.
@Hatch61 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, and for the info. The butane does seem to perform a little better in the cold than propane.
