Great video, I have the camp chef 2x and recently won the kovea at a giveaway. We're going on a 4 week overland trip and need to condense my kitchen setup to a one tote rapid deployment system. I hope the kovea low btu output won't make it really tedious to cook.

Do you know if a coleman regulator would work on this? I like to carry a spare regulator with me when I go camping, as I've had issues in the past!

I am assuming you can place a cast iron skillet on top of the grate for a larger flat cooking surface? Has anyone tried this on this stove?

Not easily no. But anything can be done if you want it to be bad enough haha

The everist 1 is much smaller than the everist 2 and is the same BTU heat output.

It will be discontinued I think as I bought it at REI on discount. Maybe they are working on a newer version.

I thought kovea products used butane. Can propane be used as well or is this product made for propane use?

This is a new product from them which uses propane

You can covert any Butane product to use Propane via adapters available on the market.
