Israel has its footing in Aerbaijani Republic. Does this introduce imbalance in the region? What I think is that there is no isolated regions anymore. Singapore is surrounded with unfriendly nations and her security guarantor is the US, who is far away, but has a connecting route to there. So if there is a avenue connecting two regions, one might say that they are connected, or one is present in the other region, e.g., the US is present in the Singapore Strait. My point is that South Caucasus is not isolated from the external world and only our three "significant" neighbors have interest in here. Israel has interests in South Caucasus, and this does not seem causing any major disruptions. Same can be said about other centers of power, such as India or France, who are not interested in having two "not compliant with the world order" states having direct, uncontrolled by anybody else corridor. These two states are Pakistan and the Republic of Turkey. And, this is not my idea, I heard this in one of Indias "propaganda" outlets. So, Our three neighbors are important, but we can jump over their heads... Same way as Singapore did. And I do understand this will require significant diplomatic efforts in aligning our interests with those of the 'good' centers of power, states who share with us values, beliefs, culture in general, and most importantly state interests.
