Not an After Talk this time! Koyasu hasn't been on any of the Sk8 After Talks yet but they have discussed Sk8 quite a bit on the radio show he does with his son (yes, his ACTUAL son), so here's what they said!

Koyasu-san is so talkative! And Kouki has surprisingly cute voice. Maybe he takes after his mother. I wonder if the other child (they mentioned four family members) is a daughter or another son. In any case, I will be looking forward to hearing Kouki in some roles in the future.

Honestly Adam probably isn't even in the top 10 of the weirdest/most messed up characters Takehito has voiced, and I'm sure Kouki has watched most of the anime he was in, if not because he clearly admires his dad, but also to use as reference for his own acting. He's a big boy, he's 27, he'll be okay.

I think it's easier than for example watching your family member on a r18 scene in a movie or something like that. Like you just hear a voice that sounds similar but it's not your usual dad's voice so i think it's fun? Lol idk.

Yeah I agree! Koyasu is REALLY good at voicing villains and I absolutely adore his villains but yeah it would be nice to hear a different side of him every now and then (like Starmyu for example, though he was a really generic pretty boy senpai there).

Ngl, Koyasu's crazy roles overshadow his other characters so much that I did not recognize him when he was playing as Violet's superior in Violet Evergarden. I did hear some semblance of his voice, but it just didn't hit me that it's him just because of how impressionable his crazy roles are.

All anime got dubbed over in my country, so I only found out about seiyuu when I was 14 or so, once I subscribed to an anime magazine. And speaking of Gundam wing, ofc Midorikawa Hikaru played Heero Yuy. I love Midorikawa's voice. Him and Suwabe Junichi has the most comforting voice, in my opinion.

Koyasu papa is well known and he's veteran seiyuu so he doesn't need blcd to be popular. About 5-7 years for now he haven't done any blcd. He also has a family. I'm sure that he will not do any. But for Kouki, he's new and last month he did his first drama cd. Now it's available!
