In Bursa? I really have no idea. We only ate out once! But in general things were cheaper than in Istanbul. Not the supermarkets but the bazaars and the market in general.

You should go to Iznik(Nicea) to see Greek heritage ,maybe Gölyazı village as well

My Greek maternal grandfather's family was from Demirtas near Bursa. They had mulberry trees, harvested silk, and sold it to the French. As kids they would read the Turkish newspapers in the cafes to who at the time were illiterate Turks. They were all friends and there was no animosity. My paternal grandfather's side also came from Aivali
