It looks like they are appreciated for what they bring , 2nd place is huge .. I hope they are , you will always run into the people in the industry that are puritans and think something should stay a certain way , but the only way you could get a younger generation to really be interested in something like Swing Dance is to incorporate a modern twist to it like these two have. You want to watch them. I can say from someone in small town Tennessee I have never watched this many Swing Dance videos in a row if ever.. and I have binge watched all their videos. That should atest to something I would think. They are mesmerizing to watch and on a whole other note they also make me proud as an American , people here shouldn't look at skin tone to find their match... they represent a color blind partnership that should be celebrated.

Im sure they are amazing dancers! That being said, I found the routine very chaotic and frantic and not easy to watch. Just my honest opinion.
