this music choice worked ONLY bc their dancing is incredible -- the technique and precision required to make all of the weird time changes+rhythmic oddities+negative space in the music work (and not just work well, but work BEAUTIFULLY) was INSANE. i love how connected he was to his partner and the crowd, and her skill+flexibility was just phenomenal. wow wow wow

I had a unique experience watching this routine that I can only recall having one other time... The first time I watched it, I was like, "Iiiiii'm not sure how I felt about that... 🤔" But a seed was planted, and it grew and grew while I was sleeping...and I've watched it several more times and now LLLLLOVE it!!! Excellent job to these two dancers. 👏👏👏 The timing when there was not a beat to follow was impeccable. As a former musician who had to do quite a bit with only an internal metronome, I know how hard that can be.

This routine was not a favorite for me, but it's still a good routine, and it takes talent and a lot of hard work to create it and to execute it this well. Your opinion is more appropriately voiced in a discussion among friends, not on youtube (and on the dancers own channel even! Would you say it to their faces?)
