I just want to thank you for being so informative. I am new to all this new audio equipment, I had an entire audio system installed in my Challenger [except the head unit] subs, F&R speakers, two amps, super tweeters. I was not satisfied with the sound as the tweeters over powered everything. I went back and had a 608 installed to have more control over the sound frequency, but I was lost. You have taught me so many things that I did not know my system is now awesome. Keep up the awesome work! You are truly a top rate instructor and I have subscribed to your channel. Thanks for the tips on how to set up accubass it is very helpful. Here's a tip for you. when setting up the accubass you can mute your speakers so you don't have to listen to the pink noise. You're adjusting the input signal so you don't need your speakers playing. I'm also confused as to why you even set up the accubass as you said your rear speaker inputs didn't roll off. You could use the dm-810 to output that channel to your sub amp eliminating the need for the accubass. I'm glad you did anyway 😊.

I knew I could mute it but didn't because I wanted to hear when the bass stopped moving vs looking at the equalizer to tell me. And yes the rear speakers didn't roll off but the bass does stop increasing

@@reclaimedpc6406 @Reclaimed PC sure but it actually played full range which is what i meant in the video and why you were asking me why I added accubass. Accubass fixes that roll off and I can add volume when it starts to roll off so regardless of it playing full range I still needed accubass level adjustment

Hello my friend! Like many others I’m pretty much a newbie at this stuff. My system is built, have the 608 and am at the point where I have downloaded the software to my computer: so here’s the dumb question. When I begin to manipulate the software, should the power to the car be turned on as well as the power to the head unit? Also, with regard to the pink noise, am going to run thru a download on my phone - should I mute the sound on the 608 software so as to not here it the whole time I’m manipulating the software? Thanks for all your help!

Yes car has to be on and you can mute the output if you desire since it'll be quite loud.

When setting up the dsp everything will be muted so it won't matter until it comes to playing with the EQ. So it won't matter
