KPop and Parasocial Relationships: Let's talk about it

So many things went wrong with recording this, but I've been on such a time crunch with my midterms, that this was the only extra time I had to record. Stressed frl.
Anyway, I feel so bad for Seunghan in this situation. Riize is a pretty successful group too, and I'm sure he had a great bond with his other members as well. I think I've seen them do some not-so-subtle effort to show their support of him. I don't know why being human has been so demonized in K-pop. It wasn't like this before. Just a thought

So sad that we see this happen to innocent idols time and time again, but the one's that are actually guilty get away with the most horrendous behavior. I wish more groups were allowed to live more freely and HUMAN like for instance P1Harmony. Instead we get people wishing off threats to a 21 year old who believe it or not, has a life outside of being an idol. Smh. There were so many more things I wanted to say, but as you all saw, I lost the race against time disrespectfully. What do you guys think about this situation?

I'm so glad P1H have some freedom. They are an extremely underrated grp so I'm glad they're getting the international recognition that k-fans seemingly do not wish to give.

the worst part with the riize situation is the fact that the other members want seunghan in the group too… so not only are the international stans opinions being ignored, but also the members of THE ACTUAL GROUP 💀

Yesssss i saw clips of them trying to hold up 7 to show their stand on the situation! It's crazy too me how these companies try so hard to "damage control" when in long term, it just makes it easier for idols to get into "controversy" since they reprimanding normal behavior makes it not normalllllll omfg

Have they publicly and vociferously spoken out about this? I mean, they are a band, and bands regularly perform live in front of large audiences. Are they using stage and microphone to make their voices heard?

It has to be the worst place to be celebrities there. You can't date or do anything without some trying to cancel you before even the truth comes out. A rumor can end anyone there, and people fall for it every time. They never learn from the last celebrity that took themselves out. My favorite one is they bullied people when they are young, I think that big issue there. And if the celebrity is a woman, that her end. Sending the flowers for dead person company just they have a girlfriend, imagine the horror 😳

I'm so confused. He smoked a cigarette and kissed his ex girlfriend. So what. I don't get it. They ruined his life for that. I think people want them to stay single and things like that. I've noticed it in c drama too. It's like they can't have an actual life. They can lose their career for dating someone the fans don't like so everything is kept secret. It's weird to be so invested in someones life like that.
