I love Jimin's set me free pt. 2! The autotune isn't generically used all over the place, it adds a nice little zing to the lyrics and the song as a whole. Pop-music is not just about showing off vocal skills. If its able to move you, it's achieved everything the singer could hope and wish for, in my opinion. On top of that, good mixing is so important in today's music. When it's skillfully done with purpose, to achieve a certain feel to the song, that's such a great thing to show off. People are just mad at autotune because it's overused in the industry as a whole. So it has become a signifyer of "bad" singers.

I also think that BTS members are among those who uses backtrack for their benefit in live performances. LISTEN. I'm a soprano and I can't sing what Jimin can. Singing that high and stably as a man is something that requires an inhuman amount of practice. Someone who does it properly, but shortly, mind you, is Kihyun from Monsta X. BUT I have never heard him sing a song that has so many falsetto/head voice in general, parts like Jimin does. It is so hard for a man to sing that high, that much. It is a lot outside of the comfort zone of their vocal range and also... We know that his forte is dancing, he is a dancing God. Singing like that is a challenge, one he took on and accepted. Sheesh, if you can do better, then do better and stop complaining. xD Also, we are not robots. Some days the voice will comply, others it will get back at you for no reason and if you don't sing, but have the audacity to complain, don't... Just don't. A singer has to avoid (most of the time, especially the days/ period of the day when they sing) thick, viscous liquids, chocolate, coffee, any kinds of nuts, spicy foods, foods that are too cold, foods that are too hot, popcorn, overeating/not eating enough before singing, I personally don't like eating a few hours before I sing, not covering their necks as well as mouth when it's cold outside and the list can go on.
