All companies do this. Major or minor surgeries. But the crown goes for SM. I mean ? If I look like that perfect after getting enhancement I'll be dumb! They have the most successful surgery faces in the industry. And this is not even a shade! They are so God d@mn pretty and handsome! Honestly, I'm glad SM tends to be very open about it, yes, they haven't publicly said it, but it's very obvious. It's nice that many young girls will know that some idols didn't just achieve beauty because of dieting, etc, but of these surgery procedures. I still love SM and their artists, either way, their vocals are amazing!

And notice that there's a so called "visual hole" in a group of every company but in SM doesn't have any idols who are so-called visual hole for knets. For example in JYP there's Chaeyeong of itzy, in HYBE there's RM of BTS. But of course I'm not saying that these idols are ugly, Chaeyeong is pretty and our Joonie is handsome. They are what knetz were saying that they're visual hole because they have a very low percentage of KBS and they're mostly get criticized for their visuals. But i noticed in SM that all of their idols mostly fit in Korean Beauty Standards, so theres no doubt that they have a lot of work done for their idols. And like what SM Stan's said that SM idols are known for their good vocals and "nice visuals."

I feel neutral about it, I find it funny how kpop fans deny it and truly think idols are 100% natural. Sometimes its just to protect their idols' reputation and image so I get where they're coming from when they defend idols against malicious people who use plastic surgery against them, but its delusional to think these celebrities that have to look perfect 24/7 and go on intense diets dont get any surgery at all..

Yes SM has a lot of similiar looking idols like Irene, Taeyeon and Winter. Aespa in general does not have unique visuals especially after the continous cosmetic procedures and the members are not very distinctive looking from each other even if they are all really pretty. Im worried though that SM will be making clones of older idols instead of embracing individuality and uniqueness in the music industry. I mean they are actually already doing that.

The biggest difference i've seen in plastic surgery in companies, has always been Hybe, their idols always look very different in unedited pictures, SM just perfects the idols with whitewashing and editing, in unedited pictures/videos you can see how they don't look as they do in group videos/photos, YG don't have for real any interest in whitewashing their idols, they are more chill and laid back, JYP do whitewashes a lot but their idols are mostly natural, plus add that to the fact that this whole plastic surgery thing is really a misused and misunderstood term in kpop, it's not that common or huge as y"all make it seem.
