Thank you! Yes 2nd gen girl groups are really iconic. Many of their albums are available for cheap second-hand on Mercari Japan via Buyee. That’s where I got a lot of these albums!

I am the exact opposite haha. The only photocards I have are from albums, I used to collect them as well. Albums are really fun to collect, and I find that (generally) one version of each album is plenty for me. It helps reduce space and spending too much money. But everyone has their own preference of course!

9MUSES were really great. There was a point in time where I really liked 9MUSES, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy any of their albums during that time. Prima Donna was an album I really wanted and Miss Agent is an incredible b-side.

I don’t collect photocards anymore, but I do have several hundred photocards just from buying all of these albums. I would like to make a photocard video too sometime later!

@@BubbleGum-e7x Yeah every NewJeans song is well promoted. Their b-sides receive a lot of recognition and that’s really cool. There’s a lot of girl group b-sides that are awesome but don’t receive any recognition because they’re not promoted at all. Only the fans know about them, so I wanted to chose only b-sides as the songs for this video.

I LOVE KARAAAAAAAAA I've been looking for other gg who has atleast have a KARA vibe but sadly there's no group who has atleast has a KARA vibe, KARA is KARA no other ent can create a group like KARA so I stan AESPA instead I've been a MY since Forever Era

Yes KARA is amazing! You’re definitely right, there’s no group that gives off KARA vibes. KARA is my second favorite group after SNSD. I also really like aespa, my favorite 4th gen group.

Yes I really love them, my second favorite group after SNSD. I really went crazy with buying KARA’s Japanese stuff. Luckily, it’s mostly jewel cases so easy to store.

I believe your After School Red & Blue is a Taiwan or Japan press because the Korean Press have a separate printing on Blue and Red

Yes that is correct. I got second hand from Mercari Japan. The only downside is that the Red photobook is much shorter than the Blue photobook, less than half actually. Many of the original photos from the Korean press of the Red photoshoot were removed from the Taiwan press :(

Wow I actually never noticed that promo sticker on the back. I never looked closely enough and just assumed it was a Komca sticker. Thank you for telling me! No it’s not signed. I got the album second-hand on eBay.

I’ve been collecting since 2017. A large portion of the 2nd gen albums I bought second-hand. I liked those groups when they were active, but couldn’t buy their albums until 2017.

I just like girl groups more. I listen to boy group music (I would say my kpop playlists are generally 25-40% male artists and the rest female artists), but I don’t buy their albums. I have around 20 boy group albums from over the years.
