This even't accurate loll, girls generation was indeed most popular around 2010s. But then 2ne1 and other groups took over, so no, from 2012 and up that u put SNSD as nr 1, its not right. Even 2ne1's international phenomenon song I am the best 2011 u put as nr 2? Gurl we see some boyishness here.

This is based on South Korea, where Girls' Generation was, and always is, more popular than 2NE1. 2NE1's songs can be more popular than Girls' Generation's, but as a group, and the fanbase, 2NE1 never be able to take over or dethrone Girls' Generation's popularity. This can be seen by the news of both groups' reunion, 2NE1 reunion news can make an excitement in South Korea, but Girls' Generation reunion in 2022 was shaking the industry and took South Korea by storm. It was until 2016 that Twice succeed Girls' Generation as the most popular girl group in South Korea.

2016 hurt so much that I cried. First Sistar, I remember not liking I Like That at first but after their disbandment, I remember crying while driving, listening to that song. Then the appearance of Red Velvet. At the time, I thought they were replacing FX, which was my second favorite group, and giving them FX music and then Blackpink who I thought was a copy 2NE1, which was my favorite girl group. I remember crying on my lunch break when Minzy left the group. Also this was really the end of Miss A and 4Minuute so the ending and transition of the next generation was hard for me.

Red Velvet appearance in 2016 was like to replacing f(x)? Is it the same Red Velvet I remember? Because what Red Velvet released in 2016 (One of These Nights and Russian Roulette), be it the music, the concept, and the appearance, nothing looks or sound like something f(x) would do, especially One of These Nights and the entire The Velvet mini album.

I got into kpop in 2012 and listened as far back as like 2008. But I've never even heard of Baby VOX, or Diva, or Chakra. Crazy to me how there were so few groups dominating at that time

Actually, it was 2013 single. And this is a Group Ranking, not Song Ranking, in which Crayon Pop was not that popular as a group, their song was more popular than the group themselves.

The videos were released on KZbin after the songs were initial released. Like Gee, the song was released in January 2009, but the video was uploaded on KZbin in June that year.
