I agreed with you about New Jeans and then your opinions just got worse and worse..... 😭 Early Mamamoo is the best. And *Cupid*'s success is explained partly by the lyrics I think. So many people have bad romantic experiences!

I’m very 50/50 on this lol NewJeans has some songs I really enjoy, but Attention hurts my ears. Fifty Fifty’s music is nothing special but too damn catchy. I didn’t like Cupid but also didn’t hate it, until I had it stuck in my head for days on end and it made me want to split open my skull to physically dig it out. I quite like Dreamcatcher, but only really their tt’s. Don’t particularly care for Mamamoo. I don’t think their music is bad but it’s not for me. And I really enjoyed Shhh by Kiss of Life, but since that’s all so far I’m not ready to make a judgement on how much I do or don’t like them. My #1 unlistenable group is Ateez. Their music makes me want to rip my eardrums out of my head.

thanks for your detailed comment and sharing your opinion! I also don't really vibe with ateez! The same goes with stray kids, since god's menu their music songs sounds the same to me, at least title tracks.

@@danisz_totally agree After Woojin left the change in their music is pretty obvious. Which isn’t a bad thing, they’re doing what they love, but it’s not for me. Woojin’s solo music however? Love love love

I highly agree about fifty fifty, their music is nothing special to me and I like only one song of them, I find their song even annoying sometimes. I partly agree about mamamoo, I only like some of their title track but I really can't listen to some of their songs, and I really don't like their latest relases.. but I have to disagree about dreamcatcher since their one of my favorites groups, but I respect your opinion because I understand that not everyone can appreciate their style! about newjeans and kiss of life, I like their music, but their nothing too special, I didn't really like new jeans' latest EP, and I haven't listened to all kiof's songs since they didn't particularly intrigued me.. anyway, amazing video!

i understand why some people don't like newjeans' style, especially since it's kind of taken over kpop and now every company seems to be trying to 'boring' down existing groups to replicate the newjeans' concept. i think what makes newjeans special is their dedication to pulling off a concept with a lot of detail, like every single one of their songs has an accompanying music video - a bulk of their songs having multiple dedicated music videos, like hype boy & cool with you - but taking all of that away, the songs themselves just stand on traditional pop music, they're very commercial, so i get why some people find it predictable or boring at this point

i get what you mean about newjeans. i do like New Jeans as people and some of their songs (HYPE MF BOY) are still on my rotation. but their last few comebacks, the repetitiveness as catchy as it was drove me up the wall cause it just seems like there's no focus on lyrics or meaning of song anymore. it feels like we're just making catchy music to be catchy.

As a bunny, I completely get you. while I did enjoy this comeback it felt a little lackluster with how short the entire thing was, it’s unfortunate that so many songs are being made with TikTok in mind now, and it’s disappointing because I KNOW that the girls are capable of much more than what they have now, look at ditto and omg for example, those songs aren’t like, two minutes and some change yet they still were massive hits. I hope that the next comeback they have will be like their debut EP and feature longer songs. Sorry for this rant btw I just wanted to get this out of my system. TL;DR: MHJ is not using the girls to their full potential and I’m angry

i have to disagree with the saying that kof and newjeans do the same music it just... doest make tooo much sense...? ofc even tho i disagree i still respect your opinion, but i dont get what songs sound so similar to eachother...😭✋🏽

what I mean is that most of their songs are in a similar style, which makes it difficult for me to tell them apart even after listening to them a few times, and in general I have the impression that in many of the songs they use the same instruments, or rather there is a lack of them, which makes the songs sound very empty (?) and that's what makes it sound identical. the exception is, for example, eta, where there are actually trumpets and this makes the song not sound like a typical new jeans song because there is actually some instrument apart from the beat itself. Of course, these are just my feelings and you may disagree! Thank you very much for understanding and respecting my opinion and thank you for watching! ❤️

I definitely agree with New Jeans, Kiss of Life and Mamamoo. The appeal of Fifty Fifty for me are the two vocalists. Their vocals are amazing. The cure for Dreamcatcher is to see them in concert. They have such an incredible stage presence that you can't help falling in love with them. Also, you mention solo tracks reflecting the individual members preferences, check out their solo tracks. Dreamcatcher's title tracks would lead one to feel they are monodirectional, but their B sides show incredible variety, although more rock than pop, and they have some excellent ballads.
