It's not just their companys it's also themselves that push themselves to their limits or go on unhealthy diets. It's sad and shows how hard it is for them physically and mentally. But luckily they have people around them to help.

Honestly... I feel like this is one of the biggest reasons why fans are so dedicated. They see the idols faint and push themselves so we feel obligated to defend them when people discredit them. I am a big army and I can tell u that thats one of the biggest reasons why ARMYs are like the way they are. How any fandom is how they are. These idols are completely overworked most of the time and those companies dont always provide the support needed for them.The idols are forced to diet (especially the girls) and if they are even 1 lb above the weight limit, they cant even debut. The training that the idols prepare them for the stages and performances, but the idols are never prepared for the amount of pressure they will receive. The fans constantly on their back. Its just so much. I think thats why, at least I am heavily involved in my fanbases. And thats also why I respect every group. Like I feel like some groups do have to work harder to be noticed, but at the end of the day, they all work super hard and try their best to succeed. Thats why when people discredit ANY artist, it makes me upset.

I know this is late but, isn't better if they don't have a fan base at all?? Let me explain, the reason they still performing is because the fans. I heard that most of the profits don't go to the idols but go to the shady companies that unfortunately won't ever stop overworking the idols until I guess they have no one supporting them (the companies) or the laws in south Korea change and they won't be allowed to give those types of contracts anymore??? That would mean supporting the music would equal = supporting the shady companies. So wouldn't the best way to support them would be boycotting the companies or something???? or spreading info and talking more about the overwhelming amount or overwork the idols have to go through - such as the strain in their body caused by the awful diets there forced to abide by or the amount of training and choreography (I heard 10 hours a day I might be wrong) and their mental health most importantly. So what I'm saying is wouldnt the best way to support them is not to support the companies there a part of??? (Sorry if this was hard to read I'm not good at explaining things)

Jackson from GOT7 also had been fainting a lot at some point thank god it hasn’t been filmed but he had anemia and extreme fatigue that was crazy. I also didn’t feel good watching it I think sometimes people shouldn’t film in these situations this is awful

From what I know, not all idols get back up on stage because they’re being forced by their company. A lot of them are just THAT dedicated.
@ghseventeen83524 жыл бұрын
It's not always only the company's fault , for example wonwoo from seventeen faint at backstage but he said that even though he felt dizzy from the beginning of the concert he didn't want to not participate in concert since fans came here and he literally said fans are his priority , and that's wrong his health should be priority and he need to take care of his health first (sorry for my english)

For the clip where you said that people should stop recording, it was VIXX performing their first concert in Mexico. I was there and honestly a lot of us didn´t noticed what was going on till later, I was looking to another member and just saw the leader dragging the guy who fainted (Ravi) out of the stage, he collapsed on top of a staff after going backstage (the staff member was way shorter and had issues carrying him), and another member needed medical attention too and left not much after Ravi fainting. Mexico city it´s a challenge to many artists due to the high altitude and the concert was held in a bar/club type of place but the air con wasn´t working and there was way too many people inside and not enough ventilation or air in general (a LOT of fans fainted too), in general it was such a bad experience for everyone and to this date (this was back on 2017) I'm still furious at the organization team, even more so considering that VIXX are my ults and that even with everything that was going on, the remaining members tried their best to keep going and lifting the mood up. I had a high touch with the remaining members and they were smiling and being absolutely amazing despite the show being cut short but I noticed that the leader had cried at some point, probably cause two of the groups members ended up in the hospital.

EXO get mistreated BADLY Like u have no idea They don't get fed properly and those clips of the members were back when they weren't given enough water too EXO been through too much ALSO that clip of Jimin and Taemin isn't true, Jimin didn't faint he fell from laughing. Taemin said staff went over bc it looks like he fainted but he was laughing at Taemin. People always take that out of context

The Kpop machine is very reminiscent of the old Motown machine. Lots of work, very little money (except for the very big name stars), and they expect you to be perfect every time, everywhere. It's pretty ugly. Their schedules and rehearsals are nuts. Their diets are even crazier. At some point, something will have to give, but right now someone is making tons of money exploiting a lot of kids who want to be famous.

I don’t think it was included in this video but there’s a small clip somewhere of the late Goo Hara from girl group KARA collapsing after a performance of damaged lady, she didn’t fall out until the song finished and the lights went down. There are so many of these videos out there, idols are literally pushed to the brink, I think this video barely scratched the surface of accidents and collapsing from idols especially in the girl group area. Miss Hara so much, hate to see any human pushed to these limits, they fight so hard to be the best and do well for fans and their companies. I hope this trend diminishes over time. Late to this party but there are so many more than these.
