This seeing today makes me so so sad. Like from yesterday there is some petition going from some haters to exclude Chanyeol from EXO, not that they are getting attention, but its breaks my heart, he went through alot is the last portion of 2020 from those absurd allegations about his personal life and some so called fans also turned their backs on him but the time passed by and when now he is a little happy, serving his country and also making comeback people cant see that. Like what do you get from hating someone, he is just there doing his job. People only see that these idols are doing good, they are just idols but they are humans first, just like everyone. Should think that what if the same happens to them and then act out.

Sometimes I see articles saying "everyone dreams of being an idol" and I know whoever wrote that isn't into kpop. Anyone who's even watched a little will know how hard it is. BTS had a terribly hard start. Now they have power but they still have so much pressure. All the other groups suffer, too, and they might not be able to show it because their companies don't allow them like Big Hit (HYBE I guess now) lets BTS be very open. Idols are people, why is that so hard for some to understand?

Oh noo the first one loona first ever music show win. That was really an emotional day for us orbits. It was their last day of So What promotions and throughout the whole era loona was being constantly being nominated but never got the win. So here at mcountdown it was really an emotional moment when they thought they were gonna lose. Especially Yves delivering the speech when at the time this was loona first era back missing their leader Haseul due to taking a break for her mental health at that time.

The disband prank was way out of pocket idols worst fears are disbanding and they pulled a prank like that on a rookie group I think they were rookies at that time but that’s a topic that should never be touched before it arrives if that makes sense !!

I know it feels like the mistreatment Olympics lately with fanwars over whose idols are mistreated the most, but the fact remains that it's taken decades of mistreatment, rare few idols having the courage to stand up for themselves and young idols groomed from ages as little as 10-13 into believing that this is what they HAVE to go through to become the best of the best. No wonder most idols these days suffer from one mental health issue or the other. And kpop fans don't make it any easier. They'll be talking about mental health as if they care and the next moment bullying these idols for normal human things, normal ADULT things. God. Kpop fans may deserve credit for protecting their idols a lot of times but Kpop fans are also the reason why companies have gotten away with so much mistreatment for years. I hope people don't just point fingers at "Korean society" and "Korean conservatives" and "kpop industry" but rather take a good look at themselves. Consumers define the product that si given out. If you de humanize idols, bully them for no reason, then the companies will generate mechanical robots whose evry move is dictated by managers off camera. If you let your idols be, allow them to breathe (not tslking about racists and bullies) they might actually learn to be more human. Their basic education isn't like yours, most of them have spent their entire childhood in closed spaces, practicing with a limited scope for communication with the world (with the exception of Koreans who grew up in the west), getting berated every moment for every little mistake. Yes they chose the idol world, but no one chooses mistreatment.

This is more than a 1000% true, like some idols are stuck with the term racist throughout their career and yet there are worse people than that and with this new society they are learning to correct their mistakes with the help of fans...there is more important things to worry about and of course am not saying that is not important but people drag certain stuff for so long if i was in the idol's place it would affect me...fandoms are a blessing and a curse but if you're truly here for the artist then keep it that way and if you have to call them out please do, but be mindful...we are not in the public eye so nobody can drag us for being racist but when these idols do it's like the end of the world for everyone.....am not supporting it but treat them like any other human being that needs to properly learn and not bash them every opportunity seen
