@@hunterashley-musicreact Yeah, so essentially it's a vocal-based performance, meaning they only sing and don't dance. So you get to really appreciate their vocal talent since they don't have to worry about anything else. You can find it on KZbin, the channel is Dingo but if you just type ATEEZ Killing Voice you should be able to find it easily. It's also reactor-friendly! They basically sing short snippets of some of their songs, mostly the chorus, and usually around 15 or so songs. It's regarded quite highly in the kpop world as artists have to be personally invited by Dingo, meaning only really good singers are invited. Hope that helps! Following their journey from their small company almost going bankrupt to debut them, to them being the first ever kpop boy group to perform at coachella has just been AMAZING. I love what they stand for and I'm excited to see your journey with them! I second the other comments in watching the Killing Voice. Killing voice videos are basically like a mini live concert. They sing samples of their songs live from all of their eras! Btw, to answer some of your questions -- The high note master is Jongho, the thicc and super-strong man who rocks a three-piece suit (he can actually split open apples with his bare hands bc his grip is double that of a normal man's) -- and he's the maknae/youngest member of ATEEZ! The really beautiful, tall, and willowy one in the gorgeous fits and Statue of Liberty crown in Crazy Form is Seonghwa (the eldest member -- well, all 8 members only have a total of a three-year age gap, so they're all more like equal friends), who is actually a vocalist but you'll also hear him rap a bit in BOUNCY. He's the mom of the group and takes care of the six crazy kids as well as the Captain (Hongjoong -- the shorty rapper who ironically is the fearsome Pirate King and respected leader and Dad of the group despite being physically the smallest member). The hourglass is a key item in ATEEZ lore called "the Cromer," and it allows you to teleport between dimensions (during the full moon) and also enter other people's dreams (during a crescent moon). ATEEZ's captain Hongjoong received the Cromer initially from another Hongjoong wearing a black fedora--his alter ego from a dimension called "Strictland" or "World Z," where a dystopian government bans all art, music, and emotion and brainwashes the people to be emotionless so they're easier to control. The black fedora you keep seeing is the symbol and uniform of a rebel group of musicians/dancers in World Z who call themselves The Black Pirates (it's basically World Z's eight members of ATEEZ!). They first appear in the music videos for SAY MY NAME and HALA HALA (which is a full video starring them, not our regular ATEEZ) back on ATEEZ's second mini album released in 2019. Because of that, fans nicknamed them HALATEEZ, and the name has stuck (even the ATEEZ members in real life refer to them as HALATEEZ). The white-masked creature on the TV screen is called an Android Guardian (first seen in the ANSWER mv, it continues to chase them in Fireworks mv, in the Kingdom stage "Ode to Joy", and of course shows up in all the MVs that take place in World Z aka "Strictland" (Guerrilla, BOUNCY and Crazy Form)). The Android Guardians are androids and the elite peacekeepers/police of the government in World Z who are trying to chase down to arrest and imprison ATEEZ and HALATEEZ. At this point, they've caught HALATEEZ and are keeping them trapped in the glass prisons that you saw HALA Hongjoong in during the Deja Vu mv. For more info about the lore/story, I strongly suggest you watch the two trailers for ATEEZ The World: Movement, as that explains World Z very well.

I was literally just singing "Crazy Form" in the shower haha. Yes, that was Hongjoon at 6:58 yes, he is the leader. I don't know if you know, but Wooyoung (from ATEEZ) 8:29, 9:30 is really good friends with Changbin from Stray Kids. The one with the hair you liked in the song is Seonghwa, and probably one of the prettiest people I've ever seen lol. 5:29, 6:34 Hope I got those right, I'm still learning a bit about ATEEZ myself. Stray Kids, ATEEZ and BTOB had units together during Kingdom called "MayFly". They'll prob get blocked if you try to react to it on YT but def suggest you check those out. "Colours" was the rap unit, Flying was the dance unit (they did a cover of Wolf by EXO) and the cover of "Love Poem" by IU is legendary, especially since you like Seungmin's voice so much. Unfortunately, Hyunjin was only in the first episode and on a forced hiatus afterwards.

Loved your reaction! Ateez is such a great group to dive into: You asked about their lore. I feel like the most comprehensive explanation videos I’ve watched came from a channel by the name of eterniteez. They combine what we’ve seen from videos and the diary entries (that typically come in their physical albums), into one place. It’s the only one I’ve listened to and felt I was starting to understand their lore properly. Aside from that, in terms of title tracks Halazia would be a great one to view, very cinematic… but also The Real has a soft place in my heart lol. However, keep in mind their b-side tracks are just as good, and give the listener a better idea of how eclectic yet cohesive their sound is :) And of course, as others mentioned, the killing voice is chefs kiss. I’m sure you will enjoy it when you get to it :)

hey!! if you are looking for more vocals i highly suggest you check out their songs, utopia, new world, turbulence, and this world!! you should aso check out Sans "breathe' cover, jonghos lee mujin performance, and san and jonghos cover they did (dont know the name because it is in korean but just search "san and jongho cover" and it is the first one to appear!!) AND you should check out their immortal songs performances, in this show things like pitch control and autotune are NOT allowed and you will be disqualified from the show and competition is you use it! they also have the most wins out of any other group to perform on this show!! Deja Vu is like my top 5 Ateez song, it was my most listened to song by them on my spotify wrapped last year💀 I'll explain the lore a bit though cause there is a storyline and the videos do link together. That hourglass you saw at the end of Deja Vu and Crazy form is known as the Cromer and it's like a time/dream/teleportation device. You saw it shattering at the end of Deja Vu there and it was still shattered by the end of Crazy Form, but so many things happen between those two videos. You're completely right about the pirate theme and the black fedora hats, they are recurring themes within their videos but not all of them. If you see Black suits and black hats, know that is Ateez's dopplegangers from another dimension called Halateez. To get a good introduction to them I suggest you watch Hala Hala and Say my name music videos. Glad you're enjoying your Ateez journey!

ATEEZ are the BEST performer in the whole industry. They performed at Coachella this year. They are the first group to do so. They are insanely good. First try the long version of the Guide it's really good. making a separate comment for ur question, they dont really got any song that's close to guerilla, unfortunately :[ it's their only metal piece and u got hongjoong right !! 7:40 good job :D mingi doesnt always go with "fixon" before his rap in the songs but it appears often ! to make it easier, u should remember mingi by his voice as it is very very deep + as a rapper he will always stand out w the rap part ! (we got yeosang [yo-sang] that also has a deeper voice too tho lol he the one with the green hair 6:16 and the Shoulders™ 12:30 and yea he got a birthmark on his temple, u got some big brain to remember the small details so quick) u should watch inception. song's a banger
