Mary Franchesca Roda OMG you're literally me I've always wanted to say that in a scenario where I get confronted for liking K-Pop. Some of my friends would probably call me gay (where I live gay is used out of context so it means like weird) and I'd say, ok well I'll go be gay with the 3 billion people who watched Despacito. And most of them love Despacito. Like, why is listening to songs in other languages so frowned upon in western countries (English as main speaking language). So does that mean it's weird for all other countries that don't have English as their first language to listen to songs with English lyrics(Justin Bieber, etc.)? I'm happy that Latino (Spanish/Mexican) and Korean Pop is getting more and more popular.

This is actually true. In my class, my teacher allows us to listen to music on Fridays. So, when I was listening to k-pop, one of my classmates came up to me and said, “Hey, what are you listening to?” I thought it was going to be a casual conversation, so I answered, “K-pop.” Then he broke down to the floor laughing, and I just stared at him confused. Then he started chanting, “GAY-POP! GAY-POP!” Soon, pretty much every boy in my class was screaming that in my ear, and the only people that understood the annoyance I was in were my 3 k-pop friends. It was the most annoying part of my life.

LOL, I just remembered. When I was in high school, there are only 2 students (including me) that a hardcore kpop fan in my class (there were 22 students). On my second year of high school. One day, my homeroom teacher got us to sit based on his rule. So I got a seatmate (he's a boy), apparently he was an anti kpop fan. He really hates kpop, so was the other classmates. But, I kinda force him to watch some kpop mvs, and little by little, he starting to fall in kpop and surprisingly he knows some underrated group that I didn't even know lol. I even taught him the korean hangul, he mastered it for 2 weeks when I spent 4 weeks to mastered it! Later, my classmates starting to accept kpop bcs sometimes in class, I played some kpop mvs and they all like it. All of them. Lol. I'm feeling so proud by myself lol~~~ It feels sooo gewd when u manage to converts so much anti fan to become a hardcore fan 👌😃

This is one of the things that bothers me. I watched a video on the React channel where the people had to guess the order that the videos fall in based on their view count. Despacito & Contigo were in the top 5 with over a billion views..... A BILLION Y'ALL!!!!. Now I am 90% sure that half of the people that viewed those videos DO NOT speak Spanish. One more problems of other persons in KPOP, is that when they saw a KPOP Idol (boy) wearing earrings and head band, thay say, "HAHA, Your bias is a gay!" When I'm still living in a normal life (or not yet a KPOPPER), when I saw korean boys wearing earrings and headband too, I also say "WOW, GAY!" but when I became a KPOPPER, that is when I realised that it's Kpop Idols (boy) are more handsome when they're wearing earrings, espacially headbands that are animal ears! One of my main problem is the fact I cant listen to kpop at skl. EVERYONE WILL JUDGE U JUST BECAUSE ITS "KOREAN" MUSIC. It pisses me off because I cant let ppl see/hear wut im listening to because they will judge me. "Oh ha ur listening to that korean music again" "wtf are you korean or something". UGH THE RACISM IN MY SKL.. someone help me.
