My God i love this girl! She is actually my favorite idol. All she does is make me smile and she's an angel. My ult idol is a goofy, funny, beautiful soul. Beautiful inside and out. Who can do this concept aside from Chuu? And wearing the jersey with the 12?! 🥹🥲😫 People ask me why Chuu is my ult idol. Just watch her in Running Girls. An all star slow and Chuu is the maknae of the group. And the whole cast falls in love with her. I did too. We all need a Chuu in our lives.

I feel the same about Chuu as you do. She has become one of my Ult's and I am so excited to see her. When the sh*t with BBC started and they accused of her of basically everything but kicking puppies, I knew it wasn't true, but I was uncertain as to how the public would be affected by her. Many other idols have been falsely accused and lost their careers for a few years or completely. I was so happy when basically everyone who has ever worked with her stood up for her, and brands spoke on her behalf. That just shows how much she is loved by people and what a good soul she is. I hope she gets her first win with this song.

2:17 it probably has a hold on you because it's The Journey (from Flip That), slowed down and put through a granulizer, it's such a LOONA thing to remix an older intro that it immediately jumped out to me. The song and MV are SO Chuu, if Howl was about Kim Jiwoo the person, this one feels much more about Chuu the performer

The music video was filmed in May in Melbourne, Australia (which explains a bit the "suburb of London" look). "Howl" and "Underwater" were filmed in and around Porto, Portugal.

Ive watched this MV like 20 times and I still have the biggest smile on my face watching it. One of my favorite/top5 songs of the year and I think MV of the year as well. Also just want to say, all the music released this past month or so has just reminded me of why I fell in love with kpop. And with Loona being one of the first 2 groups that got me into Kpop in the first place (way back before Butterfly released) having all 12 members releasing music with their respective groups and solo releases has made me one happy orbit.

I had no idea who Chuu was a week ago. I checked out "Underwater" because the thumbnail piqued my interest and I immediately fell in love with her, her voice, and vibes. That song made me feel so good when I heard it. I watched the preview for the new album and loved the sound of every song. This was so cool. I don't think I'll be able to pick a favorite song from the album. As an Oh My Girl! fan, this sound makes me feel right at home. This week has really helped me understand the excitement that people feel for these releases. Between this, Red Velvet's new release, Dreamcatcher's upcoming release, and ARTMS' release a few weeks ago, it's been such a wonderful experience. I have so much to catch up on, and I'm not ready for it, lol.

This song, mv and choreo is so Chuu, it has her personality and energy, everything screams Chuu Chuu is from Loona, the Artms girls are too, so these redebuts/comebacks that happened last and this year are being very celebrated by orbits + Loossemble and Yves are Loona members too, check them out!

I was really afraid when it was reported it would be a brighter/cuter concept that she would forsake showing off vocally, and I'm glad she proved me wrong. Lots of very good vocal moments in the chorus, bridge and obviously final ad-libs. The melody of the chorus is also such an earworm. Like instantly catchy. I knew the melody of the chorus by the time the it rolled out for a second time, just after listening to it during the first chorus.

I've had Strawberry Rush on repeat since her album released. I also love the MV because I keep chuckling because the animation effects are pretty much the same kind of effects that Criterion Games used in Need for Speed Unbound lol
