The8 fractured his left collarbone in February, and that's why his hand remains in his left pocket for most of his part. Still...amazing how they made him look SO SWAG and even kinglike in his presentation. He said recently he's doing better, so the choreo will be reworked to include him in the overall choreo. I just love how Seventeen worked around him, though, giving him a spotlight well deserved...even with his injury.

Yup the8 had an injury if im not wrong he fractured his collarbone so that’s why you hardly saw him on the mv and the dance practice, you only saw him come and go cause he had to minimize his movement.

you're the only reaction youtuber who notice the8's minute participation because he was injured. now i need to subscribe. the details, man??? you've caught on! (apart from the cheoro ofc)

Woozi (a highly empathic INFJ) said he wrote this in the middle of the night, and it was very hard. He said he had to dig deep and face all the "demons" and negativity people worldwide are facing right now, and it became very emotional for him and HARD to write the song. The purpose is to express what I would say the majority of the world's population are thinking/feeling right now, especially in those countries where people are under surveillance (Seungkwan, a whistleblower, in the corporate world, trying to escape like Truman did; DK finding a camera in his lamp and drones outside his window, so he smashes his TV which may also be spying on him; etc.), where everything wrong seems to be happening (Woozi doesn't even HAVE a driver's license and doesn't drive on purpose, so he probably would feel dumb trying to start a car and turning on the wipers instead...but Truman's car wouldn't start either), Mingyu having a stage camera fall on his car (just like the camera fell nearly hitting Truman in The Truman Show...Wonwoo trying to leave but getting blocked only to end up with it raining on only his right side (meaning the world is fake)...there are SO MANY references to The Truman Show in this video it's unreal!), Joshua saying goodbye to a friend only to find a button pin just like Truman did. They're all trying to escape the "set" or "stage" of life, but keep getting blocked. Truman desperately wanted to go overseas, purchased tickets, but was too afraid of the water to go. Woozi has a ticket, but keeps getting blocked...again, just like Truman did. The only way Truman could escape was to put a dummy in his bed (like Hoshi) so the producers of the show would think he was sleeping while he ran away. Did you notice that the drawing in the mirror that Hoshi is looking at is a monkey...referring to Sonongong? And another thing I found significant is that as Dino is looking up at the night sky, the Big Dipper constellation changes into the Southern Cross. The title of the book Woozi is reading is "Microwave and RF Design of Wireless Systems"...a tip of the hat to a "conspiracy theory" that we're being zapped with negative energies via technology (including our cell phones). It's significant that S.Coups finally walks over and turns off the lights on the set, indicating this life is nothing but a stage. Once the lights are out, that's when you see the ocean, with storm clouds forming in the background....just like the director of The Truman Show created to drown Truman once he finally beat his fear and got on a boat. TOO MANY references to the movie; and it's EXACTLY how people are feeling everywhere. Even The8 said he's felt this way many times, and his only salvation--which is everyone's--was to find himself, which he does through meditation. So overall I think the video is beautiful...Seventeen letting CARATs know THEY UNDERSTAND what they're feeling...especially those in China and other tightly controlled countries...and that the way to overcome is to return to and find yourself. Don't quit, don't let the numbness (apathy) set it, don't hide your feelings by just laughing it off, don't fear your past self embarrassing you now. FIND YOURSELF. FIGHT For Your Life (the billboards behind Jun read "Nothing Will Make You Happy", "Waves of Fear Coming To You" and "Avoid Challenges/Stay Safe"...the messages/propaganda of the world and what we must ignore). And CARATs...Seventeen understands what you're going through and feeling, too!

Correct! Choi Youngjun had a major hand in Super's choreo

They're both title tracks, they usually vote on a title track but this time they couldn't decide on one so they made both of them title tracks. I'm glad you enjoyed both songs, thank you for reacting to Seventeen!

4:07 They had 250 back up dancers in the music video
@daniibananii Жыл бұрын
was waiting for your reaction, yes, Super and FML are both the title tracks there were more than 200 back-up dancers Super/손오공 is heavily inspired by the chinese tale of 손오공/Son Wukong/Son Goku it shows in the lyrics and performance; if you know Dragon Ball you might get some of the references (Dino literally looking like a Super Saiyan). I'm not too familiar with the tale but I read a lot of stuff since the MV came out: Son Wukong has the ability to shadow-Clone (hence the number of dancers), he rides on a cloud (Scoups verse), he uses an extending staff/pole (Shuas verse). For FML the inspiration for the MV is The Truman Show (I watched the movie so that I could understand the MV) apparently it's one of Hoshis favourite movies.
