"Served on a grand jury in the summer of 42"..? How old is this guy!? Is he a time traveler?
@KentsGarageGym4 жыл бұрын
2:42 did he just say he served on grand jury in the summer of 42? That would make him near 100 years old.

I caught that as well and almost choked. There is no way that man is that old. He must have misspoken.

Great video but I have one concern about this guy. He said he served on a grand jury in summer of 1942 which means he is now at least 100 years old or he sit on a grand jury when he was 5 or 6 years old or maybe he in love and confused with the French movie “ Summer of 1942 “

So who is inside the room during grand jury?
@marissamoreland311911 күн бұрын
The 12 jurors, a court stenographer, the prosecutor, and any witnesses the jury calls in to decide if there is probable cause to hold a trial.

Can Grand Jury be held accountable? Not following the law? Acting ignorant? They were picked for their commonsense? Etc? For just being full of hate? Can a hate crime be brought, charged on these grand jurors?

Can a prosecutor ignore the recommendations of the grand jury and proceed with or not proceed with charges?

Who came up with the idea of having a grand jury?

Yeah we did. We abolished Grand Juries in the 30s sadly.

It's my understanding that the grand jury will indict a ham sandwich. Sounds easy to get a person indicted.

Secrecy just makes the whole process questionable. You’re using public resources without being public. It’s not justice if the community isn’t informed of why charges aren’t brought against an accused criminal.

No wonder R Kelly got a true bill and is now in this problem. This is a stupid procedure because it biased.
@seananderson53343 жыл бұрын
A grand jury doesn't convict. Kelly had a fair trial and wasn't convicted.

He served on a grand jury in the 40s?! What! How old is he!? Or am I missing something? He doesn't look old enough to be at an age to serve anything in 42....so confuddled
