My mom took me and my half sister, dressed in our pajamas, to a random apartment and threw open a door. Right there in front of us was our dad on a couch with another woman who were both half dressed 😮 I'll never forget that visual 😢 To this day I can't imagine doing that to my children 💔

It seemed at the time the 16yr old girl wanted parents to stay together buying those self help books. Then to be taken to witness the Mother kill the Dad. It was a cruel evil act. You should never bring your children into adult disputes or use them like a chess piece

What the heck is going on with these dentists and their relationship! I just finished watching Brenda Delgado’s case where a dentist assistant was dumped by a dentist doctor who didn’t explain the reason why he left her or who knows any of these people are telling the truth. They’re all sick and twisted where no one gets to be with anyone at the end. History just repeats itself where some women or men get outrage to killed their cheater spouse. It’s just sad that no one is telling anyone the truth about their relationship. Heartbroken without knowing the truth is the most painful for anyone. Delgado hired two people to killed her ex his new girlfriend. Clara on the other hand is a dentist who married a doctor who is also a dentist. Now I don’t condone her to killed her deceased husband, but for a cheated husband who is had an affair with a dental assistant is unacceptable. The case is all messed up. The investigation was not investigated correctly. Everyone has a different story where it is not consistent of hearsay. The private investigator that Clara hired is at fault. If they had kept their mouth shut about the affair then none of this would have happened. The private law firm is another firm to look for their 15 minute of fame. For Clara, we all been there in her shoes and with a cheating spouse, it’s better to walk out and move on with your life. These cheating partners are not worth your time. Use the money to get yourself pamper and take a vacation with your kids. The lesson here is don’t kill a cheating spouse. Their garbage! Waste of your time and energy. Let them be with that person. Thank them for cheating on you so you can find someone 10 times better than them.

I would never murder anyone, but I'm ashamed to admit that I do admire this woman. (Sick, I know.) My husband also betrayed me, but a totally different story. He had been cheating on me for about 8 months before he told me he wanted a divorce... OVER THE PHONE. Not face to face. Yet at that point he still didn't admit to the actual reason for wanting this divorce: his new(ish?) relationship. THIS he chose to disclose to me via an effing EMAIL... a week before our 25th wedding anniversary. I was 100% shocked and would NEVER have suspected this. I had absolutely no idea. When he asked for a divorce I was still very much in love with him. I loved him (emphasis on past tense) with all of my heart and my soul. To say this was traumatic is an understatement. I was in a deep state of shock for many months. Now I look back on it and there is honestly a part of me that wonders, how do I have any self esteem remaining when I let him get away with this? I have two precious daughters who I, of course, put before all else. But, I've had friends say, "I don't care. If it were me I would still kill him. My kids can come visit me in prison." Gosh, THANKS, FRIENDS, for this super helpful support. Anyway, I can't lie. I don't judge her and I could never have served on that jury because there is no way I could have been unbiased. My reaction is "Good for you, girl." I told you my viewpoint is sick. PS One of my dear friends Googled "mammals born without testicles" in just one supportive act. Love her for this. But, G Damn, I am still struggling with anger. (and weird regret that I never retaliated)

I am so glad and grateful for this one. I remember this case so well and still can recall the way I felt about it. While I do not condone what she did, I immediately understood it. I am long-married and what I understood back then (about how it must've been for her) I STILL understand. I also knew (as a married woman, as a woman) that she immediately regretted her passionate haste, the terrible thing she'd done. The other one, Gail B., with checkered background including appearance on Sally Jessy Raphael, was nothing, as a person, compared with Clara. But she was something different (and looking for her next meal-ticket). I hope Clara is doing well. THANK YOU.

I remember this. The mistress looked so average. I still don’t understand why Clara felt threatened by her. The way David was describing her to Clara made you think she was some type of Marilyn Monroe- she looked like a commoner; Nothing to go crazy over. That being said, I think the fantasy of a perfect marriage that went to ruins is what shattered Clara. Sad case, but I’m happy she’s getting herself together again

@maneckineckbeard1749
@maneckineckbeard1749 Жыл бұрын
Exactly! Of course his death was a tragedy and he didn't deserve to die for what he did...but still, that doesn't mean we also have to minimize the horrific amount of emotional abuse and blatant gaslighting he put Clara through! Saying she was fat, (after she gave birth to his children!) ugly, wanting her to give up her successful career as a dentist and totally change her appearance through plastic surgery...and then STILL carrying on the affair after she actually made all the ridiculous and humiliating changed he demanded?! That's abuse, pure and simple. And yeah, admitting and apologizing for an affair, but then continuing to carry on having it makes any apology meaningless. Also, the woman he was cheating on Clara with was an absolute snake, IMHO. (no insult intended towards innocent snakes!) What kind of woman openly starts an affair with her boss's husband?

I have always thought the PI should not have told the client, Clara, where David and his mistress at the time. That put urgency on Clara to catch him in the act. I certainly think the mistress was never going to get the Mrs. position - she should have ended it. Also, if it was an accident as Clara said, the evidence would prove or disprove if he were run over once or many times - besides Lindsey's eyewitness testimony. I always felt for Clara because she seemed so sweet and rational - her story really seems to be a temporary insanity case. What a sad situation. Anyone who cheats is a coward. No one deserves death but he was so self centered - what would have changed him?

Women do not receive harsher sentences than men. @salvadoramaya8642 already gave a good reason, but it's not just women sympathizing with other women. Most men are also reluctant to judge a woman as harshly as they would another man, even for an identical or very similar crime. And on the topic of sympathy... I'm seeing none of it for Gail here in the comments. Plenty of women (and a few men) seem to believe that murder is easier to forgive than adultery.

I absolutely think that her husband was horrifically abusive to her...but I also think that her reaction was very possibly criminal. I guess I don't think theyr mutually exclusive. Unfortunately, under the law adults are expected to behave in a mature fashion and not violently lash out unless their physical safety and/or lives are in danger...even when they've been wronged and humiliated as repeatedly and cruelly as Clara very obviously was. So honestly, I do think she should probably have been convicted of something...but I also don't think that she was anything close to a cold-blooded murderer, and she never struck me as being totally unrepentant and remorseless like Betty Broderick. I think the minimum sentence would have been much more appropriate than what she got. I also think that the fact that the private investigator broke protocol and basically told her where to find her husband was dangerously unethical, and that this tragedy never would've occurred had Clara not known where to find him. So, overall, I'm sincerely glad that she's out now, and rebuilding her life. She's served her time, and earned her freedom. She's clearly a highly intelligent and ambitious woman, and I hope that she's able to return to a successful and satisfying career and have a peaceful life.

In any case, IMHO she was obviously WAY too good for her husband, and I wish she'd just taken him to court and done as much damage as possible in the legal arena. And I really wish that emotional abuse could somehow be punishable by law, so there can be less of a chance that abused people will get to the point that she did. Also, my heart absolutely breaks for her kids and stepdaughter! I hope that they've managed to find as much peace and healing as is possible!

If roles were reversed he would get life and be called a monster. Only cuz she's a female people want to be gentle with her, hell no she is a cold blooded murderer. A narcisist who killed that man with his daughter in her car and took him away from his sons.

IMO, she shouldn't have murdered him--but it was in the heat of the moment and she was NOT thinking clearly. She probably should have just divorced him and taken half of his money... Wonder if you'll have an episode on the Christine Paolilla case...

I find it hilarious that people sympathizing with that woman. A murder is a murder!!! I found numerous cases where women cheated on husband and out of rage man kills the woman, people immediately labeled that man a monster. And it SHOULD BE!!! but why these killer woman are given a victim pass I ALL situation.... Violence, murder has no gender...

Ain't no way I would have found her guilty of anything except reckless driving. David really committed suicide. What else was he thinking about if it wasn't suicide. I mean to walk out in front of your wife driving a car. After she caught you with your secretary. And after they get in a fight and you leave with the secretary. Really 🤔😏🙄🤔

Latin American people are very intense in their emotions and what he did is unforgivable! Women do not accept affairs! NOT that murder is acceptable, but I kind of understand!

That is a gross generalisation. I am S. American and in no way am I "very intense" with my emotions. Especially, to the point of committing a heinous crime against another fellow human. In fact, Ecuadorian females are known to be sweet, gentle, and kind in their nature, which is why they are largely preyed upon.

Hi @theresarasche3173, thank you for your comment. Just to give more background info, we didn't surprise her with a camera or record any video/audio. It was a courteous conversation that happened when Clara Harris welcomed reporter Amy Davis into her home to talk. Had Clara asked Amy to leave, she would have. Please let us know if we can answer any questions!

Paparazzi and journalism are two entirely different entities. Journalism is a necessary profession that requires degrees in education. Paparrazi are uneducated, self-serving, low-life scum that neither researches and writes articles pertinent to the subject matter that will be published. Instead, they stalk, hide in bushes, invade privacy and personal space in order to capture intimate moments in a celebrities life for money. BIG difference.

Seeing her at the end, of her in court, I just wanted to acknowledge the fact that you can use koolaid powder for lipstick and blush in prison but they haven't figured out how to bleach hair or find a way to get tanning bed results without a tanning bed. Also, in comparison to her figure before...maybe ol' girl was supplementing her workouts with a little nose candy.
