The irony of a criminal defence attorney saying that some people just don't know how to lie. Funniest thing I've heard this year!
@Bethlam7 ай бұрын
I am a person that can’t lie. I’m so bad at it that people know instantly I’m lying so I’m just honest. However, this woman would lie just because she thinks she can.

I worked at Coca-Cola at the same time as this woman. She seemed very loud and wanted to draw attention to herself. I never thought she would be capable of murder though!

I love this defense attorney. None of that “this is a travesty of justice, my client is an angel.” I feel like defense attorneys on crime shows are usually clownish and this dude’s reasonable and bummed out.

This is the reason why I don't date women that drinks..no bars no party drinking, ..that garbage makes you crazy.i bet he wanted her out, and she was so drunk she went nuts ..

Exactly why I don't be with men that drink. Men are dangerous enough sober let alone drunk.

@@HeatherBoo916 can we both agree alcohol is the issue here
@HeatherBoo9169 ай бұрын
@@keithgrant-fn9tg I think it's the people drinking that can't handle their alcohol, if I'm being fair. I know many folks that drink and are perfectly normal. But when bad people drink, their personality comes out even worse. So I just avoid alcohol in general and am careful about the men in around too.

Looking at her in this interrogation room her actions are not adding up that is a cold killer you are looking at 😢 she did mean to kill him at any given time or anybody this woman is mentally cruel she may not plan to but her mind ment to do it because she have the intention
@Bethlam7 ай бұрын
Where are here bruises if he was hitting her so much? What she described would have been at least a black eye and scratches on her. If he was being violent there would have been video evidence of it. Plus how did the blood get all over her pants but very little blood on her upper body? Clearly she was straddling him as she beat him.

First defense attorney ever that I didn't hate. I think he's just too empathetic and just couldn't give up on her. He seems very kind.
@oo7agent99311 ай бұрын
I love the prosecutor especially when he said if a man kill a woman automatically the jury can find him guilty. When you flip it and a woman kills a man the first question you ask is what happened. I find that very unfair just like the prosecutor said he was dead on. Women get the sympathy and men don't basically. This lady was very violent
@turtle19dad11 ай бұрын
Yep and they always go to the “he was abusing me” card.
@Yosetime10 ай бұрын
While that is true and things are slowly starting to balance out legally, you cannot dismiss the incredibly high numbers of men abusing and killing their partners over the decades in comparison to the other way around. They are assumed guilty or at least suspicious for a reason. Statistically, men are the aggressors. That is a man's struggle to change that. In the meantime, I believe society has changed sufficiently now to accept that women also commit abuse and murder of intimate partners. Still doesn't change the stats though. Men are still many times more often violent than women.

I concur with your statement. There definitely is an imbalance.

It seems that in most cases alcohol,drugs,and sexual promiscuity are always the start to a crime happening with domestic partners. The messed up part is you only get to hear one side. Never tell any abuser you are leaving just get out and don’t lead them on either. Her defense attorney sucks he doesn’t seem like he believed her at all.

@melissou100Ай бұрын
I'm just reading the book about this story by Kathryn Casey, and what is missing in this documentary is the context of madness into which this woman lives, Voodoo, superstitions of all kinds, sometimes she seems to some friends of her horribly crazy, very menacing and diabolical. And she sleeps with every man she can if he will give her money or a shelter. She as abandoned her two daugthers and lives a life of a quasi prostitute. And her victim is a quiet man who only wants one thing : for her to disappear from his life, for he is afraid of her, and ashamed by her.

By the sounds of it, this was a self-defence homicide. And she would have been the victim if she had not acted in self-defence.
@MrCityslickerktm10 ай бұрын
If a woman is claiming domestic violence/self-defense, she should have another woman representing her. That attorney appeared to not have a care in the world.
@Yosetime10 ай бұрын
Well that's the only attorney she could afford. You get what you pay for. It's not that he's a man and doesn't understand domestic violence towards women. It's just that he wanted to win the case. He said it was his biggest case, and he seemed sad that he lost it so pitifully. I don't think in his heart he believed her. But he cannot say that on camera. She obviously is guilty. Must be hard to be a defence attorney when your client is as difficult as her. Her character is repulsive to most people and it's very obvious. She'll fit in very well in prison.
