Says to bind adapter first before using it in the manual! :-) Noticed too if you see the 'replay' button at anytime on the right of the screen, press it and you 'might', if available see an animated step by step procedure how to carry out something if its available. Glad to see a fellow owner going through these procedures, really helpful. The only downside to this tool is the lack of a really in depth manual for it. Funny how it programs remotes to open your garage too! :-)

That looks really handy for sure. I use an AR32 from around labs and the stupid thing works in bios mode only or on windows XP 32 bit which is all outdated. To have a platform married to a programmer would be nice for automotive alone. The benefits for the AR32 are rich. I can do crash data, the older Eprom that erase with us light for arcade games or earlier prom chips, change mileage on clusters erase counters in printers and much more. As a locksmith the Lonsdor would be great for any chip associated with key making so I say thumbs up. I love the hex editor, looks exactly like the ar32 but easier to navigate.

You can always tell a tool made in China by the lack of instructions. I bought a VVDI tool a month ago because of the great things it is supposed to be able to do. It had absolutely no paperwork with it aside from the factory verification sheet. Two things on this, I really hate working in the dark with this stuff and these companies should not be relying on KZbin videos to take the place of an actual detailed user manual.

100% they should have good instructions, the vvdi tool is the other video I was going to do next , it seems to work for some things, but like you , I'm in the dark, and when you plug it all in not all of it works, I cant get the key coil to read, so still working on it, I did use it on a Citroen and it did work, did not read pin, but can do keys. maybe this week I will get the time to get it running and pot a video
