0:00 is the closing to “Red River” but it featured the cast listing where you don’t see them on later releases. The closing with cast listings is rare. I used to have the DVD of “Red River” and it was excellent, and I would love to watch it again. The DVD was a 2007 reprint of the 1997 DVD release which was distributed by TCFHE and on the disc itself was by MGM/UA Home Video which was an early DVD release from 1997 when DVD was new at the time. Previous releases including VHS and DVD releases has the same closing, but it has a background chorus added to the mix, but this version doesn’t have the chorus. But the cast listing is not on there, it goes straight to the 1993 MGM/UA Home Video logo closing variant. Later prints have the MGM “Bronze Leo” logo with URL. 0:23 is the cast listing that you don’t see on later home video releases. “Red River” is still a great movie, and I’m a huge John Wayne fan. “The Searchers” is also my favorite movie.

I believe the Dodge Ram commercial at 10:14 is voiced by Ernie Anderson. Sounds a little atypical because the tape was sped up slightly.

Emerald Yeh left KPTV for CNN -- then from CNN to KRON in San Francisco. Ted Warren left Portland for KOMO in Seattle.

Haven’t heard the name Emerald Yeh in decades! She came to my school a few times and my classes had field trips often at the KRON TV station (now demolished)

Emerald Yeh began anchoring CNN's DayBreak with Ralph Wenge, who came from KGW Portland, on 3/7/83.

@@jamieschmidt939 - I remember Mr. Wenge from anchoring on one of the Connecticut stations in the '70's. As for Ms. Yeh, she is now a philanthropist.

"Ramblin'" Rod Anders voices the movie promo at 1:13 and the ID that follows. He was KPTV's cartoon host well into the '90s. Interesting to see they ran a story from KTLA at the end. KCOP was KPTV's sister station under Chris-Craft.

This is cool that folks in the Windy City have tape from the Rose City.

We’ve gotten tape from all over the country. Better to preserve it than let it be lost forever.
