Kraft Blade (Exclusively for the Silhouette Cameo® 4)

The Silhouette 3mm Kraft Blade allows you to cut specialty materials, such as acetate, craft foam, burlap, and leather. The 3mm depth is designed specifically to take advantage of the increased clearance the Cameo 4 has to cut even thicker materials. We recommend you use the strong tack cutting mat with this blade.

I understand that these blades for Cameo 4 are new products, so not that much info out there yet on tips and tricks and how to use. However, I think it would have been helpful to add a few seconds to this video showing the altering blade depth and additional passes needed. This makes it appear you cut the material in one pass.

Since more pressure has been added to the Cameo 4 machine, please consider scoring deep enough so do embossing without the curio machine

how are you supposed to cut out pieces when it leaves the little swirly marks on everything? If you could at least move them to outside your design, that would be fine, but when they are all over inside the design, that just doesn't work!

I really enjoy the Silhouette Cameo 4. It would be wonderful to have additional tools for example an embossing tool and scoring tool for paper crafting. I find myself removing the scoring lines in Silhouette Studio when I make cards or boxes.

Yes cricut let's you score and engrave with the maker. If the cameo 4 had the same blades I would get one because of the increase of clearance and pressure

Bold as hell to show leather/vinyl cut with a Kraft blade without showing the loop cuts it has to make because the Kraft blade doesn’t pivot like the regular Silhouette blade.

Got the new Kraft Blade to cut foam (as I was told auto blade wouldn't) and it won't accept the settings. Msg comes up to tell me to put the settings in blade one when I've put the settings in Kraft blade in second holder! This video doesn't really show you how to do it!

I wish you would show the setting you chose for this cut. My cameo 4 will not accept leather or suede or pretty much everything. It did accept leatherette but when I change it to the tool 2 and choose the Kraft cut it turns everything to blue and shows all the circles but when it cuts it just cuts all those swirly circles that are to show the path it will take to eliminate round corners. What am I doing wrong?

this doesnt look real.. I wish silhouette would create deep point blade similar to cricut for their carriage 2. Kraft blade is pretty useless, if not, its gonna throw away most part of the materials before it gets the job done with so much mess.

I got a test cut to work after trial and error on 10 mil stencil plastic, but now when I try to cut it says I have an error on tool 1 - but tool 1 has no action or tool I need to use. Anybody know how to fix this? I checked out this video to see if something needed to be in tool 1 just to use tool2, but looks like no :)

@@famvangils3354 I think it's simply that you have to have the blade IN the carriage so it can read something, otherwise, nothing in there, no settings for it to change. I only recently was able to get blades for carriage 2. Hope this helps.

@@jameswarrillow6255 Not really. I understand it needs to be in Tool 2. I just removed the autoblade from Tool1. Even though it does not allow you to select No Cut from Tool 1, just ignore that and move on. Now if I could get it to not print the loops.

The Kraft Blade don't even cut the same way in the video. Silhouette is a big scam.
