I love these. My mom died 3 years ago and my dad 1 year ago. I have a picture of when they were young and waltzing. So I'm going to make busted canvases of my parents and give them to my kids and grandkids. He was extremely close to all of them

The book flower vase might be my favorite DIY I’ve ever seen on this channel. I’m not even a big reader but for some reason it’s just my favorite thing. 🫶 Edit: I think it might have to do with the arrangement of the flowers. I love the height variation. It’s like if the lyric “I hate it here so I will go to secret gardens in my mind” was a decor piece.

I get so excited when I see you use items that we have at our local Dollar Tree here in Canada!! I just bot the same scarecrows (found out the picks pulled straight out, whew), 2 girls and 1 boy (for my grandchildren). I haden't quite decided what to do, was thinking maybe attach to burlap for door hanger, but the busted canvas is brilliant. And the flowers tucked in the bottom just take it to the next level!! I think you ended up making the right decision with the pumpkin you chose for the second project. I think having to dig a hole in a foam pumpkin would be more laborious. The flowers are definitely more summer than fall, but it’s adorable! I love the canvas, the book, the pot of mums… I loved it all! 😊❤

I hadn’t heard what a busted canvas was until a couple of weeks ago. I saw someone make one and I was like that’s cool. Yours turned out really cute especially with that cute scarecrow in it. Hi Katelyn i love all of these projects! The busted canvas is my favorite. I have 5 sister's and we have lost both parents so im thinking for Christmas to make them each one of our parents.
